Well we never ended up selling the Cemani eggs.. when these chickens grew to maturity, some of the birds had some Red traits. So apparently they were not top quality. Definitely not selling quality. I guess you get what you pay for ! 😀👍🤣🤣😜

Somebody is selling them for $15 a chick in Canada. Either something fishy is going on or there just isn't the demand as I think. As cool as they are, I'm not sure I would want to eat them.

Their growth is more in summer months because they require day light to grow. In India its called kadaknath means very hardy in local language. Its meat is very low in fat and high protein and iron. Tney are black due to genetic reasons of hyperpigmentation. Its meat is known to help diabetics and cause virility. It is an endangered chicken species. Governments around the world are trying to promote its rearing because it is a very expensive chicken

Yes every time Tuesday rolls around I hear you saying *WHERE is Tractor Tuesday* lol. But never fear, tractor Tuesday is still something I plan on continuing to do. I just have to get a bunch of more episodes finished. And yes the deer head, I do need to show that. It worked excellent. And the house in town, oh man I've been so busy, but yep progress has been made and I have a few Treasures to show. Only one last thing to say, *stay tuned*

It's a way to keep the origin of th product in the name, it doesn't matter if it is the same word twice if most people won't understand one of them. It's not uncommon for unique and rare products as the country of origin dictates the name then other languages add their twists

I hope you find the right crowd that want them mostly aisan community except they wont pay the price if would be better to breed a couple of true breeds. Here in MN i bought Ayam Cemani two years ago. Small group of people to sell to. I still have a group 8 breeders. However i started a different breed that is almost as profitable but has a much bigger group to sell to. so i would say more profitable in the end. Wish you the best in 2019.

Not particularly...about 80 per yr. The Swedish Svart Hona is also an all black breed (similar heritage or ancestry) but have been bred for egg laying and do more like 200 - 250 per yr I believe... There's a 3rd black (fibromelanistic) breed called the Hmong... if you wanna do some research and comparing...

My dad had this kind of chicken Philippine version it called Ulikba Chicken (white feather and black meat)he started breed January 2018 now we have 4 chicks 2 weeks old...you can see his chicken on his Facebook Alfredo Calvez...
