They're cool, but imho, waaaay too heavy. My friend bought one brand new when they first came out. Really wasn't too impressed w/ it... Weighs around 5,200 lbs and runs the quarter in 13.9 with a VIPER engine.. They shoulda put it in a small truck and made something REALLY cool.. just my 2cents

@@billymanilli Dodge didn't want quick 1/4 mile times, they wanted fast and so it was. 156+ mph top speed with zero mods, bone stock. I have one and it's modded. 13.9 way slow. I have seen stock ones roll 11.5 against a modded Lightning.

Cleet and crew… from another owner of an 04 SRT. Keep an eye on the power steering pump lines and the oil lines. They’re both huge issues known for blowing off the fittings. It happened to me. Just passed 61,000 miles on mine. Same exact model as this and people of all ages absolutely love it. It is the only vehicle I can think of that gets zero hate and everyone seems to really appreciate it. Even people who don't know what it really is say "Hey man, that's a nice truck. What year is that ?" Then you tell them it's 20 years old, has a 8.3l viper motor and it's a manual and THEN they lose it. 🤣 I love this truck and everyone else seems to as well. If there is something you really want just go get it before it's too late. I missed out on a couple Gen 2 Viper's before they sky rocketed in price and then came across this out of pure luck searching for an SRT 10 on carguru's because I was bored and this just so happened to be 20 minutes away from me. Happy I bought it, I prefer sitting up higher and having a bed and the rims were forged at my place of work so it has some sentimental value to it. The only way I'd sell or trade it would be for a Viper Rt 10 with forged internals- no other vehicle really means much to me other than basic transportation. Test Drive 5 and Gran Turismo in the 90's are to blame for my Viper addiction even though I always crashed it at Laguna Seca lol Rare breed of a vehicle. Pure, raw power and really simple to work on.

Literally just Drove my 05 with (now 88.5K miles with the original clutch) exactly 1,059 miles straight. No issues at all. Solid fun truck. Whoever wins it will be pleased for sure. Great choice for the giveaway
