Completely agree. Right now they appear to be more gimmick than anything. I haven’t heard a compelling argument that makes them so different than whats out there. Or what someone can build themselves. Time will tell.

They will be as any other arrow. There is nothing special about a carbon arrow with a weave wrap. Slightly tighter weave means nothing in the hands of virtually any shooter. Firenock was making 1k weave arrows for ages i believe. Its nothing that new or revolutionary. No one else really does it because they don't see the return on cost is my guess. I dont see them being any stronger than victories other TKO series, nor you will get any more real world accuracy out of them. The average person shooting a hunting bow wont be able to tell a difference between .006. and .001 with field points. Im willing to bet even the best pros in the world would not be able to see a difference between these and any other .001 arrows. I think its largely just a gimmick and good marketing that tricks new bowhunters or the typical die hard tac shooter into buying crap they dont need. They are solving a problem that never existed and creating a new one by having a one-off arrow size that makes no sense. Are 4mm and 5mm shafts not already good enough? Heck, with different spine sizes, the O.D on 4mm and 5mm can almost overlap as it is. For what its worth, I would still take an X10 parallel pro that I built myself over these things. Maybe if they sell shafts by the dozen at a better price and normal sizes, I would try them then. Also my comment is not directed at you in particular, Im just sharing my opinion in general. I have looked into the construction process of arrows and how carbon products are made. Strength vs lightweight has always been the battle. High modulus carbon is super light and stiff, but more brittle. I do like the idea of a carbon weave, but in reality some of my most accurate target arrows have been just standard carbon wrap construction. I wouldn't mind seeing victory take the 1k weave and make some of their own lines with it though... I would surely give them a try if they come in normal sizes.

Question? Everyone is always saying they are so much more money than all of the other arrows. I normally shoot Easton x10 and they average around $34 an arrow and they still need built and the UV ones are $38 per so not that much difference in cost.
@MADDHunts4 ай бұрын
Most of the arrows people are shooting are around 12$ an arrow… so it is a big difference in that aspect!
@derricknalley30534 ай бұрын
Very true but it’s a very premium arrow not the arrows that you buy for $12 an arrow. I would compare it to the x10 parallel pro and the higher end ones like that. However it’s one of those arrows that will get a lot of hate because of the cost and it’s to bad because I think people would live them.
@davidsummers11244 ай бұрын
@derricknalley3053 the problem is can you notice a difference in a $12 -$15 arrow and a almost $40? Absolutely fucking not. Go get a dozen easton axis, sonics, etc. In .001. You will never see any difference non of us and I do mean non of us shoot that well to see it. These are probably good arrows but not for $40 when you see everything else out there. This is just UV wanting to be the sitka fanboys of the archery world. It has very little to do with the arrow and more to do with the name and that's what's wrong in this bs.
@davidsummers11244 ай бұрын
@@derricknalley3053I just looked them up, you can get 6 easton sonic match grade fletched with AAE vanes for $16 an arrow, doesn't make any sense to buy these over priced arrows unless your goal is trying to flex on people that will probably out shoot you with $10 arrows. Lol

They do really look good all covered in blood! Kansas whitetail blood that is! Honestly they are not that much more than other premium arrows fitted with premium components. They do perform. I have found they group a little higher than my other arrows that are 10 grains less. Go figure. Maybe because they stabilize quicker or they have less drag. I'm not sure why.
@MADDHunts20 күн бұрын
I have to agree! I have to ask, what are the other arrows you’re referring to? 🤔
@royhoglund132220 күн бұрын
@@MADDHunts If you're talking price; Easton X-10 Parallel Pro with Iron Will Snyder Core components and an impact collar, Black Eagle X-Impact with either the Valkyrie system or the Iron Will Snyder Core system with an impact collar. If you're asking about the impact point; I shot the UV 1K (424gn), Easton FMJ 4mm with a 120gn glue in point (415gn) 11.5%FOC, and the Black Eagle X-Impact with the Iron Will Snyder Core system (field point) with an impact collar (414.5gn) 19%FOC. The X-Impact and FMJ arrows impact together out to 80 yards even though the FOC is quite different. The UV 1K group incrementally higher at greater distance ending up about 4 inches high at 60 yards. I haven't checked them further, but I assume due to weight alone they will eventually group lower. I need to shoot them a lot more. But like you, hunting season came.

Looks like there's a lot of people who are paying out a good size $ bill ,must have a lot of money to wipe their asses with or they make a bigger pay check than I've ever heard of, and I thought,,, Easton X10s were expensive, X10 apparently don't have anything on K1 arrows, I just hope there's enough interest for the market cause $220 for half dz or $37 for a given arrow ,my idea would be to buy my own stock supply and spares, that means 4 sets of each, then I could do my own research, but the whole dam archery market is like everything else, it seems to have tripled in the past few years, archery just sorta ain't the same

@@MADDHunts Michigan great outdoors has one of realest reviews on the arrows I’ve seen yet. Check out his video if you haven’t yet. Practice and consistency is what archery is all about. Better equipment helps sure… but the arrows only go where the archer puts them. The carbon weave is sexy on them and just the overall aesthetics. I’ll get them when I get gifted Visa cards to take some of the load off the price some 😂. Sure I can get them now, but as you mentioned, it’s too late in the season and I stocked up on my RIP TKO’s. Sitting on 18 sticks now lol.

Love your channel but they seems like a major gimmick at that price. VAP TKO, Easton Axis, Easton FMJs, etc.. will shoot as good as any shooter's ability out there. Expensive arrows won't make you shoot better

lots of people don’t understand, within your own comment, yes these are expensive, but that’s because they’re already pre-assembled and cut from their website, yes easton’s are cheaper, but you’re forgetting you have to outfit the arrow after that, a lot of people who get “expensive arrows” still have to put the veins, inserts, nocks, and heads on the shaft, those “premium built arrows” tend to be about $5-10 more per arrow
