Jason, your tract of land is very beautiful. It looks dry with a wide variety of trees. I'm looking forward to its preparation for your homesite and transformation of the property. From all the palmetto plants I'm guessing you're located in Florida or South Carolina. Thanks for the video.

Ok, you’ve probably been told this already, but that digging you did when you first drove off of the trailer is a bit of a no-no: you had the bucket in the dump position, where it’s at it’s weakest. You should return the bucket to just a bit below level before digging in. If you hit something buried and immovable with the bucket extended like you were; you can bend or break something. IIRC, the manual does list an exact maximum angle; but I don’t recall the exact figure off of the top of my head. Personally, I find my GC1723EB seems to dig best with just a little bit of down angle; almost level.

I bought a GC1725m. Got 118 hrs on it. Dug stumps and drug firewood logs home. Dug holes and burried a lot of things left behind from the old owner. Handy tractor and saved a bunch of money.

Your guaranteed to get a lot of outdoor projects done with these tractors while having tons of fun doing them. I'm approaching 400 hrs on mine and I can't wait to hop on it each and every day. Thanks for commenting and have a great week.

Nicely done Jason. I just came across your Massey video and I just love the land. As soon as I saw it, I thought you were in NC/SC but Florida has those type sharp pointed plants. You will really enjoy working on your land and you'll get a lot of helpful tips from other Massey GC1700 owners. That is one tough little beast. Will check out your videos and stay tuned to your channel. Again, nicely done.

Thank you for your comment I really appreciate it! I have tons of content filmed just haven't had time to edit and post it yet, so stay tuned. I have gotten a good bit of great advice from other tractor owners already and look forward to more. Thanks again and have a great week!

Hello from MN just got my tractor last Friday. Gc1725m I see you have box by front tire? I’m looking to have a little tool box/chain box think you can show us what you have and how you did it? Thanks! Place looks good!

Nice acreage, you and the Massey will have it looking like theme park in no time. If you were close, I would come and dig with you...sort of dueling GC’s. Be safe and good luck with your land!

Sounds like fun. Property is littered with dead trees in fact their is one area on the outer edge of the property that looks like possibly a small tornado went through, this area will most certainly put Maggie to the test. I'll post some footage of this area sometime next week. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend.

Is your tractor missing the muffler?
@subcompacttractorstuff40533 жыл бұрын
Funny you should ask this question because just the other day I was cutting my grass and the muffler on my zero turn fell off, made it extremely loud. Yes Maggie has a muffler in fact these units are relatively quiet compared to some of the other brands out there. Thanks for the view and comment.

What length trailer is that? I’m about to buy a Massey GC 1725mb but I only have a 12’ trailer. Hate to buy another one because mine is in pretty good shape. Love your property!
@subcompacttractorstuff40535 жыл бұрын
It's 12' tandem axle, I think it's the perfect size for this tractor. The bucket hangs over onto the a frame and the backhoe is almost even with back of trailer. The weight distribution is perfect with center of tractor over the axels. Congratulations on your purchase I know you have a great time. Thanks for commenting!

Does your F150 have backup assist because you made that look easy
@subcompacttractorstuff40535 жыл бұрын
It does have the back up assist but I don't use it I tried it once and it messed me all up. it's no longer programmed to work with any of my trailers. I learned how to back trailers a long time ago when I worked for a trucking company. Thanks for your comment!

Get a set of forks for the tractor you won’t have to chain it
@subcompacttractorstuff40535 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the recommendation! I actually do have a set of forks however I didn't have them with me on this day, I usually use them for moving stacked up tree limbs I never considered using them for this purpose I'll have to give that a try next time.
