I have a giveaway idea, why not give a chance for some members to tag along with their own rig with say a week off work or like 5k or something and paid fuel, I know heaps of people out there would love to go on one of these adventures but don't have mates equipped for recovery etc. I think sometimes just an experience away would be an awesome prize (plus you get content and spend less cashloa - win win)

Awesome tracks and trip, guys! Hey a couple of things, I was surprised you were driving in high range so much and especially in the river crossings! Especially in an auto! Did you have a rear diff locker on! While the fluid ion the hill may have been a cause for the code, you are already having trans problems IME do not use high range off road, especially river crossings and even in snow, and ever with a diff locker engaged. Regardless of temperature or cooling you are adding allot of extra load, a common misconception is because you have lots of engine power you think nothing of it! But you are cooking your trans fluid, your torque convertor is working overtime and breaking the fluid down even faster! Diff locks front and rear unless a comp style like ARB air lockers should not be used over 15-20kms for same reason but also thinking about what a diff locker does! You should always be in low range especially water crossings at that depth, you should have more than enough range in low range to cover that and also Id suggest you use manual mode, start in 2nd depending on ya ratios but can drop easily to 1st if required, never be in D, never, unless on reasonably flat and light gravel roads which allot before or after was like. The only truck I thought approached it well was the Bush Coy crew, I don't know what the other guys did as they didn't say, but the LC crew always said what gear and range and perfect crossing every time, also tip never wear your seat belts, in those depths, if something does go wrong a good chance your seat belt will jam and you will be scrambling for a knife worst case. A lot of modern glass is also unbreakable, people have drowned because they couldn't get out or break the cars glass! Just saying as it was noticeable most were hooked in! While not the Cape shit happens when ya not prepared for it. Sorry to be that guy, but seeing allot of vids from many lately using pretty poor safety practices, eg no blankets on winch pulls standing in line of winching, etc. Both these issues with both American trucks don't fill me with confidence either, 79 might lift some wheels but it like a tractor in comparison, but keeps on going! I know you guys are going for the hard sell on the US big rigs, but to me they are a hauler nothing else! I love though you don't hide those things and show them, appreciate that, no doubt they are great for things, but Im not the market myself, someone get that man a snorkel soon pse! JMO. I'll stick with the 80 off road, maybe a 2500 Chev I do like them, one day for the Caravan hauler! I do love the High Country, too, here and there epic! Def bucket list that LC party maybe next year at the Dargo H, epic 🤘

Hey man from the USA here, invest in a thermal bypass for the trans and I would highly recommend pulling the valve cover inspecting the pushrods and re torquing the rocker arms the 19+ ram likes to chew push rods up!

Deno said it best......., 'new car problems' hey 😂, must admit though, on my '98 Isuzu Frontier I lost my clutch, couldn't get any gears, pulled onto a dirt road, drove about 5km, and full clutch reappeared again, still no issues 😂 Great Ep drop, thanks for the share 🇿🇦🤙👍

After all the gremlins in the US trucks are you guys going to persist with them and try Rnd them to be tough? I own a ZR2, people say so many issues, I think all cars do, us 4x4 community need to find the weaknesses and fix em.

Rear tray bumper on the Ram a little weak, the way you were able to kick it back in. Need some thick steel back there and it won't bend.

DEF sucks! If you are ever near the exhaust when it 'regens' you know it's worse for the environment (& anything living) than a little open exhaust.

Man you can kinda see why the Americans are happy to palm off a few of their trucks. Want to love them but this amount of drama and their known faults from the showroom floor to be fixed is concerning
