This is the end. @DearAlyne and I are breaking up.

That was her choice. If someone shows you who he is - believe him. Nas is a good guy and he was faithful to her, but that was not enough for her. She wanted more. If what they had was not good enough for her, she would always want more. She is a wonderful person and deserves what she needs, but I am not sure if what she wants in a man is just a fairy tale and a dream that will always be reached for in the next and next and next person and the dream will never come true - BECAUSE its a fairy tale. Some quick points I noted: 1. She was 100% PATIENT. 6 years is a long wait to see if this is going to work. 2. Nas chose his priorities differently. Not blaming him for that, that's just how it happened. 3. Calling their relationship "loveless" is a tall order. Her tears are real. Not saying 'I love you' doesn't mean it was loveless. Being a wife to an entrepreneur, I felt this. Whenever someone starts a business and dedicates so much of their life and time on it, there is typically no room left for anyone else..not even themselves. It is so hard to be supportive to someone who cannot give anything to you for years on end. This is why we see so many CEOs divorced and alone because they are married to their business. There will be times (and plenty of them) when you won't see your spouse, because he (or she) might be busy working to either provide for the family, or to help those in need. My own father went through that journey. Still is, in fact. There were times that even I wondered why my Dad was set upon that path, but as time went, I sort of understood. He loves us dearly, but also shares his love and wisdom with others. And although my Mum used to get a bit upset with him in the past, she's accepted it, over time. Maybe that's what you need to do. Back him up a little bit more. And if he'll let you, be a part of his mission. I only wish my ex-wife would've shown some support for some of the decisions I made, rather than rejecting them at every turn. So talk with him. Discuss your hopes and fears. Maybe you might just be able to keep the bridge (your marriage and family) strong, rather than breaking it apart, like so many others have. Nah, I feel Alyne is just as much to blame for the downfall. From the moment they both realized he really wanted marriage and kids and she was extremely against both marriage and kids, that should've ended the relationship.
