My boys and Kevin do a fun little project for ‪@DirtPerfect‬ He needed and extra counterweight for the front of his 850J dozer we sold him for when he plows tile. I think they were please with the outcome, let us know how we did, be sure to check out mikes channel to see it in action!

I really hope that Tucker does realize how lucky he is to have you as his father, he has been getting a PHD in so many different disciplines simply because he is your son! I’ve been a trained welder for 40+ years and to see a 16 year old young man make welds like that is impressive! So good on all of y’all!

Yes tucker is lucky to have awesome mentors but give the devil his DOS without natural abilities it becomes average at best he has the knowledge and abilities to get the job done you can lead a kid to knowledge but you can't make them think he is the total package and an asset to your shop !

Hey there C&C family. Every time I watch one of your videos I can’t help but wonder if others are seeing the same things I see. Things like hard work and dedication. A commitment to excellence. Craftsmanship, experience,knowledge and skill. Family and friendship. Sure you all cut up and have a little fun but I’ve been belly deep in a dozer rebuild and it’s not what I call fun, endless oil,grease and things that can crush and kill you. I really enjoy your videos and the time you take to explain your craft and for taking us along on road trips, and to all kinds of equipment auctions and expos. Better solution. Since the cab is positioned towards the back of the dozer, you need to tell Mike to loose some weight and clean out all of those Pepsi cans. That should prevent the 850J from doing wheelies! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Better know, you could have built it like forks, allowing for additional weight to be added or removed! 😁😁

Nice job on the welding and Dirt Pie thing. The balance came out perfect. Wait till the dozer gets buried in mud with all that added weight front and rear! I'm sure DP will get it out.

I think you guys nailed it... Great job. Dozer will plane out now. Put the get up and go to the ground . steering should work now unless its really greasy... Drive the dozer up on a rail road tie without the plow and weight. Find center of gravity. Then hook plow and weight on. And do it again. You will know if you got it balanced like the factory built it. I am sure they tried in the design to distribute the weight on the tracks.

I do the actual design in QCAD which is a simple intutive 2D CAD program and then import the .dxf file into SheetCAM where I assign the layers and operation for each layer using the "canned tools" in my tool list that include kerf width and cut speed and generate the .tap files, then import the .tap files into Firecontrol and do the cuts on Langmuir table....this works for the simple 2D brackets "we" need......enjoy your videos..........73, MP
