Nothing is easily the best phone manufacturer, such a cool company. There are places that will use 3mm titanium back plates to make bulletproof phones without much additional thickness. The CMF 1 is probably the best phone for it because it's easy to attach and quickly remove the back plates, and because I assume the standard backplates are 1-2mm it would hardly add any thickness. Version 2?

Unfortunately this was the reason I was disappointed with the video. I know it is probably impossible but given that you can remove the back of this phone I was hoping they were going to make a removable back case that was bulletproof even if they failed it would have been cool. But as the original comment states they made a case, not a bullet proof phone. May as well have wrapped it in the bulletproof jacket and called it good.

To make a cheaper DIY bulletproof phone case, use ceramic tiles. They’re the same ones used in bullet proof vests. You’ll still need a sponge or fabric at the back to catch it and a gap so there’s room for the shards to move and dissipate its energy.

One thing i have to say though, I know the MAIN PURPOSE of this case was to protect the PHONE, BUT!! if someone would have this in their pocket and got shot in the "phone" it would stop a bullet not matter if it was shot through the phone or the back of the case, I mean it would probably hurt like Heck and probably break bones, but probably better then a bullet going through the body?
