We Built the Landscaping Wall around our New GOLF Tee Box. The backyard golf hole is now looking a lot better with a new retaining wall around the tee. It's a 196 yard shot from the tee box to our backyard putting green and we will have plenty of competitions on our golf hole!

Have you ever thought of dumping the gravel on the ground and having a big screen, built into a frame and set on a stand at an angle? You throw your gravel at the top with a shovel and rocks will flow down the screen back to the ground, with the finer dirt/gravel falling though the mesh. You could set your 5 gallon pails up under it. The stand should be tall enough to allow this. Plus you could make it big enough to fill multiple pales at one go.

@@UnderParAcres wow directly on top of the rock? I figured you would need something with a cushion to reduce shock from impact.

@@troyroussell if you want to hold chip shots better, that is definitely good to add. This green is really small though and primarily for putting. If I ever go bigger I’ll add a padding under the turf for sure!

@@troyroussell That’s my bad! Someone else asked the same question at the same time but about our putting green video. I don’t actually know what mat this is as a friend gave it to me. It’s very solid though and has a thick rubber base which makes it easy to hit off. My other tee box is very thin putting green turf directly on the crushed rock and it is tougher on the hands and much less durable. I think the thick rubber base is huge for a hitting mat!
