Actually the nether farms are a quite bit different than overworld farms due to biome complication unless they could also made a ghast tear farm now though it has collection system in overworld but the farm is in nether so you could consider it as a nether farm 🙃

You should put composters over bare hoppers to reduce lag. The hoppers have to check less things(2) with composter over it so it reduces lag
