Maybe you could convince Kyle that Wyatt is worth more than a week off? Aussies get 6 paid weeks a year legal minimum, Ruskies get 8+ weeks, even China gives 5+ weeks. If America is the greatest nation on Earth, and people like you and Kyle and Brent an Cleet exemplify American Freedom, surely this would be a number that would tell us? Man Cleeter's journey was hell too. Leroy became a legend when he did that shit on a hurt motor and with no water at all.
@JamesJames-nr5rl3 жыл бұрын
@Jeffrey Clifton Yeah, the way that Cleetus going for a 7 in Leroy played out was nerve racking, there were other teams going for the record at that time and when Cleetus lifted the head, I felt like I was right there with them, I had really given up hope, Cleetus said he was going to go back to the shop and pull the heads and would probably have to resurface the heads and new gaskets and I just didn't see it happening. Then, out of nowhere, Cleetus, asks, cam we run it without any water? I'm thinking, what? Is he going to try again without water? Then he tells everybody what is happening and I'm like, yes, but then the lauches keep going bad and then he turns the key and click, I thought he was done then but they push start it and it starts, then he does get his 7 that night and not just a 7 but into the 7.8s I was genuinely excited for them and the feeling like I was right there with them wad so real, I watched it late at night and when Cleetus broke the record I was so excited, I couldn't go to sleep. Kyle's going for the 7s was very similar, I was so excited after the first run but I kept thinking that he broke it a little and just didn't know it but he kept at it but spinning the tires several times , I just felt like something went wrong and that it wasn't going to get to a 7 but then after all the bad Launches, he launches and it goes and he stays in it, and I'm listening to it and thinking maybe bit when it shut off I was thinking that there is something wrong and it wasn't. Asking the power needed on the big end to get a 7 but he did and when he finds out, it wad so fun all over again, watching them go for it from the start and then see them set the record is so satisfying, it really is so much better than anything that network television has to offer any more, I'm watching a group of kids reaching for life and not listening to those that are telling them it can't be done and are doing it, having success doing something they love and I really enjoy seeing them ha e success, I hope that they continue to have awesome success!

I remember months ago when the mr2 dream was just starting, the comments were all saying "no way its going under 8" .. "He isnt a serious builder to contend with world record" .. now look at you guys. Truly inspirational how much guys have accomplished. (maybe its just that Wyatt gave the team a -1 second buff lol :-).. )

This reminds me of when Cleeter got his first stick shift corvette 7. The energy and hype is identical.

Even more impressive is I think Cleet was the first stick shift GM in the 7s not just a corvette platform

@@Kaspurr84 you're right, it's the first ever stick shift GM in the 7's.

You've basically grown up before our eyes. From never really working on cars ALOT to now fully built world record holders. Not to mention all the things the hatch and shopping kart are known for. Really congratulations BOIZ. YOU DESERVE IT. this video had the same feel as cleetus when he was going for record (and got it).

I LOVE Wyatts hyped up mentality after the first pass! “ dude, we can do it. Put it at 60lbs run it out the top.” Then Kyle being conservative”no- let’s go 55..”
