And if that warrant is based on hearsay or false allegations? No problem for the cop. Qualified immunity protects him. He just has to say that either he made a mistake or he was given false information. Therefore: Is America a police state? Yes. Because only in a police state can the police do what they want without taking responsibility for their actions. You got the least trained police compared to any other developed country. A Barber has more training for his job than a police officer. But you give them a badge/ a licence to kill/ a licence to lie/ the power to arrest anybody for ever reason you like and top of that? You give theese guys almost 100% protection with qualified immunity. I So think about it and tell me you are not a police state.
