I brought it up at an AA meeting one time about these 2 guys going after newcomer girls. I was told, " principles before personalities " In the AA book it says - love and tolerance of others is our code so ...... love and tolerate pricks, scumbags and creeps I guess.

The incident in a church, an elder was accused of assaulting a young girl. A group of us went to the pastor after a week went by and nothing was done. The patent of the child said he was going to let the pastor handle it. When we went to the pastor he said he would handle it biblically. If the elder admits his indiscretion to the church as a whole he would be stripped of his eldership an that's punishment enough. Come to find out about a year later that this man had a situation years earlier with a paper girl that went into his house to collect the monthly payment.
