Hi Erinna, thank you for your very positive reaction to both Lucy’s stunningly beautiful performance and to the profound messages contained in this exquisitely crafted piece of musical theatre music written by the incomparable Chris Broom for his forthcoming musical, Rosie. A complete Studio Cast Album of 12 songs has just been released but nine of the songs are already available to listen and watch on KZbin, We Can Change The World being the latest. All of the other songs are just as exceptional and all are worthy of a reaction. It is reasonable to claim that as a group, these 12 songs represent the most beautiful collection of musical theatre works in one single show ever composed. Many have already won major national and international song writing awards. As for Lucy’s vocal talent, words cannot begin to do justice to the stellar quality and exceptional class that she exhibits. I won’t even try. Thank you for your sincere and thoughtful reaction.

Although you can interpret the song as a modern message, it is in fact the character, Rosie singing about the world being against her relationship with the man she loves.

Hi Erinna, ex Platte City here, I love that you are finding Lucy and reacting to more of her. Lucy and her sister Martha have sang covers of so many other artists and have made them their own. This song was written by Chris Broom of Cavendish Records, specifically for Lucy and The Musical Rosie. Nothing and no one to compare it to as far as being recorded before, which really shows the talent and wonderful voice that Lucy has at such a young age, turning 20 the end of February. I can't wait for you to react to more of Lucy's songs. I know you will fall in love with her, as so many of us have.

These new song from the Forth Coming of 'Rosiie' - the Musical for this late year 2024. She is enchanting melodies of her lovely voice. Lucy Thomas is the very Best young singer of our times. For something more simplistic & lovely from Rosie listen to and watch Above the Clouds, but the visual & singing of Broken Dreams puts Lucy on par with the greats of musical theatre. Keep listening. Oh my gosh! I think with Lucy we’re seeing the “musical treasure” of the century! This beautiful music & lyrics by Chris Broom is so welcome in these times. Kudos to Pablo Hopenhayn and the orchestra as well as the entire production cast and crew of "Rosie". It is wonderful to see how Lucy records with the orchestra!!

"Rosie"is based on the thrue life of Rosie Boot. A poor, catholic Irish girl marrying a powerful English Lord against the will of the King and the English nobility. Rosie passed away in 1957.

Hi Erinna Nice reaction Lucy is just amazing such a beautiful voice This is another song written for Lucy by Chris Broom . Chris Broom Wrote the songs and music of Rosie for Lucy to Star in opening in London this Autumn (Fall) .It is based on a true Story of Rosie Boote A poor Irish Girl who was sent to a convent by her father after which she went to London and became a singer & Dancer at the Gaiety theatre Where she met and English Nobleman They fell in love and Married but not before the Aristocracy and even the King tried to stop the wedding As they considered Rosie of a lower status.
