Why we want free things on free things? Why do youtubers want paid things on paid things? (in general, not you) They stretch 8 minute videos so they get to 10:01 for an additional add spot. Then we get youtube premium or an adblocker. So they get sponsors and put a sponsor spot IN the video, and on top of that you can join their patreon or channel for extra perks...

I am South African and my dad and I had a conversation just like this recently. He told me that the police here are more corrupt but in America the police have more anger issues. He told me that the police here don't shoot cause then we can't pay them. His very words were "It's more expensive here but at least it's service with a smile."

We have corrupt police in Malaysia too, where it's almost common courtesy that if you get pulled over you have to bribe the police, and you can even bargain and ask for a cheaper price if you are good at it hahaha. I would take that any day over a police that might threaten my life.

As someone who was in a relationship with a cop, I asked him why a cop will ask a person why they were pulled over. His words: “You can pull them over for a stop sign, or a broken taillight, whatever it is. But when you ask them, they may incriminate themselves with something else. Like speeding, registration, etc. The more you catch them on, the more good you as a cop look.” I have so many other stories on the psychological tricks they use. It’s so terrifying how the cops in the U.S. are trained not to help you.

People forget that the police see the worst of people as a job so when they in a tense situation they act the way they are usually forced to. And people usually make it worse by resisting. If every person were to just follow the police’s institutions and not make any sudden movements this wouldn’t be a problem in the first place. Every time i watch these “police brutality” videos, this is how it usually goes down.

The Swedish police action when I was Speeding 125 KM/h on a 110 km/h highway. I saw this SAAB 95 Aero behind me for a km or so, one driver but no passages. Normally they are two in civil police cars, so I didn’t suspect it was a police car. But then the blue lights came on and I pulled over to the side of the road. The police man came to my car and asked me to come and sit in his police car in front seat. So I very surprised came to his car and opened the door and sat down beside the policeman. He started the conversation “How are you feeling”? I said “I am ok” He continued -“ do you feel stressed? Is everything ok with your family? “ I was surprised again by his questions I. Replied “yes, it’s a little stressful with studies and work, but family is ok” He continued -“ ok good, what you study?” And we talked a little about that. Then he said -“here is a monitor where we can see how fast a car in front of me is driving, and here you can see it say 125 km/h but I take it down to 122 km/h. Do you confess that you were speeding? I said “yes I confess I was speeding” Then we talked some more, and he gave me a ticket of 2000 SEK around 220 dollars, and said “ you have one month to pay it, so don’t worry.” Then he wished me good luck with my studies and that I should breath more and take one thing at the time...... That was probably the nicest traffic policeman on the planet... a older policeman close to pension, driving around and stopping speeding cars and making people to calm down and breath .... Amazing

Poopee let me guess, your one of America’s finest in law enforcement. The arrogant temperamental Nazi gangster bully that gives good cops a bad name. I mean it’s hard to be grateful when some Barney Fife writes you a ticket for going 5 over, after an unnecessary interrogation that’s leaves you shaken up and violated. I’m still grateful, even though Officer Barney Fife ruined my life by adding an expense I’m an able to afford. I guess the homeless should be grateful as there being told everyday to find a new location and that goes for people living in the car/van, imagine being put down, searched and harassed everyday. There are good and bad in everything and I have met a lot of really cool and understanding cops that truly care making a difference. I just think it’s sad that are people in law enforcement that really believe they are good cops, when they stoop as low as the criminal there trying to bust. I mean no morals willing to ruin innocent lives and even go against the constitution, doing whatever it takes to get the criminals and truly believes stands for something. Smh

This is not to generalize police by saying all police officers are bad, but the way police are organized and operate in the States is intended to maximize guilty verdicts. Even the question at a traffic stop, "do you know why I pulled you over" is intended to get you to say something self-incriminating. Police interrogations for more serious crimes aren't about getting the facts in order to figure out who a likely suspect is, it's to get a confession out of whoever they're interrogating. Have y'all ever seen a videotape of a police interrogation? It's terrifying. It makes even perfectly innocent people crack and falsely admit guilt. It's disgusting, and it needs to change.

"top score" was the number showing how much the SA police expected for a "reward"=bribe. African police are very delicate in such delicate matter. Trevor did not exaggerate it at all-that is exactly how things are there, ,and it is true, people are not terrified by police presence.

This hits pretty hard, seeing as its 2020 now, and theres still cops who thought they could get away with murder, just because a man had broken the law and he was black

In Bulgaria, "What are we doing now?" and "it involves a 2 litre bottle of Cola" are word-for-word, the two staples of what being pulled over is mostly all about. Like Trevor said, it's a game of respectful banter combined with a two-sided discussion on an appropriate answer to the first question. And being pulled over by a cop who says they 'thought' I was speeding sounds similar to being pulled over by the actual Mickey Mouse.

I always love it when they show you numbers of the speedometer then tell you how that number means you been a bad girl/bad boy 🤣🤣🤣🤣and how they should arrest you so what will you do 🤣🤣🤣 Once in Bloem while they were writing my fine they allowed me to capture the speeds of approaching cars 🤣🤣
