Commercial table grapes are bigger because they are treated with Gibberellic Acid, a natural product, to stimulate growth. Wine grapes and untreated table grapes naturally have smaller berry size than store bought table grapes.

Also as someone who's got back into gardening I love seeing all the stuff you grow. BTW your videos also are quite educational which is great as the public are very misinformed on agriculture.

A while back we had a 100 acre recreational farm property (even had an old Nuffield 460 tractor). We don't have pets but I was considering getting a cow or two strictly as pets and totally raise them as pets, like see if they want to hang out with humans, feel secure enough to nap around humans like cats and dogs do, play fight, be petted, go for walks, get them to answer to their own name, play fetch or a cow equivalent, learn tricks, be cleaned and brushed etc. Never did but now wish I had. That little black cow looks like it wants to be a pet. p.s. I was looking after three gold fish over a winter so they didn't freeze solid in my mother's yard water feature. One of them was extra friendly so I treated it as a pet. That fish ended up doing things that fish don't do.

We have a char cow that stands on the hill every morning and waits. When she sees us headed to the barn to feed the calves she starts her trumpeting. She can moo for over a minute straight. She calls the entire herd up and they beat me to the barn to beg for grain. We took a heifer off of her and put it in with the herd by my dads a year or so back. She does the exact same thing yells every morning. Cows are very vocal animals . We call our calls with words so if you say hey girls you get a short moo but if you say lets go girls its high pitched moo followed by a dustcloud headed to the feedlots.

this is the frustrating part, trying to buy up calves, sure i have one farm that will text me when they have a calf or 4, and i will run and pick it up. but i have found, it getting harder and harder to buy right from the farm. and to go to a sales barn to buy, it a 7 hour drive, yes 7 hours, dragging a trailer, not knowing if you will be coming back empty or loaded. and this year, that been not an option, unless i take a hotel for 14 days before sales day, you leave your Provence you have to self quarantine. and same thing on return home, witch is still in effect to this day, so i was buying right off the cattle truck, as it is heading east or west. you dont know were they came from. and every calf including the beef cross ones were all sick, and you get them better, and a week later its back, and dont respond to the treatment you first used, every one went though this 3 times, and i had a beef cross that went though it a 4th time, but it was a loss, each time i took poop samples into the vet so we could get a best treatment. it was the opinion of the vet that none of them got enough colostrum if any at all, this was farther be leaved after a autopsy of the lost beef cross. and as he said being i was buying them off the truck driver there no why of knowing what farm they came from, even tho everyone must have an RIFD EAR TAG to trace live stock, even when you take them in to be butchered they must have an Rifd tag to be scand out as end of life, but with this system, it is not made puplic, you can call in the number/s but they will not tell yoou anything.. and any calf loaded on the trailer is $50 cnd and i been willing to pay farmer direct a $100 each, weather a heifer or bull. i have some Augus cross i got from my regular farm a year ago last march that are at another farm right now being bread.. i never did get the number of calves i wanted this year, as many were very sickly looking, who knows how long they been on the truck..i just uploaded a calf update this morning

Hey R. I was just thinking. Could I be your pet? We could make a corner in the barn for me to stay in (preferably a separate stall from the other animals though.). You could just give me the equal amount of time as you give the rest of the animals (and a little food once in a while). I would likely just sit there all day staring through the fence in the direction that you might be coming from occasionally. I promise not to be a problem! I couldn't promise that I wouldn't bite that Kevin guy if he got too close though.

Hi R. Just wanted to clarify that this is entirely a silly joke. The animals like you so much so I was just joking that I would too. Also, me kidding about "that Kevin guy" is entirely joking around as well. You and your husband seem to get along very well and it's nice seeing you together on video still acting almost like teenagers toward each other having being married for quite a long time. Likely every person that watches your videos think you're a sweetheart and it seems that Kevin deserves you. You make a cute couple and you all make a very cute family.
