I'd say the reason Connor feels uncomfortable eating Reese's cups is because of Hersey's Milk chocolate. The process of making American Milk Chocolate means the milk has to go sour first before being made into chocolate. This is the reason why a lot of people say Hersey's tastes like vomit. Americans have been eating chocolate made with this sour milk chocolate process since WW2. We don't taste the sourness of the milk chocolate cause it's a flavor we've come to expect and enjoy. The sour milk increases the shelf life of milk chocolate significantly meaning it can be produced cheaper.

What I do, very ineficiently, is to tire the fly down. Yes, they tire down, and it only takes like 5-10 minutes. The fly bugs you, you bug the fly back. Once it's tired it won't fly away, then just smash it with watever. I use my sock, because I can throw it and not spray fly gut all over ther wall nor I smash my figurines.

Funny story that Connor reminded me of. When my father was a kid he had to go to the hospital for stitches. And after they cleaned his open wound on his hand, the nurses just left him in the room alone for an hour and a half for tea time. They just told him to stick his hand over the trash bin in the room if it starts bleeding again. this was in Ipswitch during the late 70s early 80s.

Connor's story reminded me of a similar experience I had in school. The cafeteria had a few different stalls you can line up to that had different things. One was whatever they had prepared that day, another one was burgers, and there were like 3 pizza lines. One line was cheese, i think one was pepperoni (or flavor of the day or something), and the third was the "special". After going to this school for a year, I realized nobody was ever in the special line. I figured I'd try it because that means i'm not waiting in line for half the lunch period. That's when I realized why nobody ate the special pizza. It was monstrous. They would construct the thing out of leftover ingredients they couldn't use elsewhere. The lunch guy called it everything but the kitchen sink. I can't remember its specific combinations but I remember a TON of broccoli. The upside was it tasted basically alright (for cafeteria food anyway, it was cardboardy at least had a distinct taste), and because I was the only person that liked It I pretty much got as much as I wanted. Got to have some conversations with the lunch guy too and he was pretty cool.

I dont always, but I definetly still understand him, that shit when its barely open is way too bubbly (or however you call it). You drink a can freshly open, your belly is gonna thank you in some disgusting ways. This does vary from soda to soda tho, usually the moat popular brands are the worst at it. And as I said, its not that its BAD, I enjoy it sometimes, but it does feel awful enough to drink it always like that.
