Gotta laugh whenever I see these videos where the coins aren't coming out, the solution people come up with is to smash the button harder, or think the button isn't registering the press... The issue is the coin isn't getting loaded in to the mech properly or fast enough. Which could mean a jam or just lack of coins or some issue with the coin release. Really has nothing to do with the button itself. That part of the game hardware is incredibly simple. I also have to laugh when people constantly reload credits on a side that is having issues... When there's a completely open other side that could be working way better. Also, it always seems like the left side of this game is the one that is really janky/broken.
