Same for the leech seed. None of his remaining pokemon would've been able to take blows from it to use leech seed, and lava plume's 30% burn would've crippled the Tyranitar. Same if he had held onto the Horsea; it might've gotten a scald off on it, or use toxic on a pokemon like that Slurpuff.

What's up GG! Challenge Idea: Survival of the Fittest You and Chillin start with one basic Pokemon on your team that knows a base move like tackle. Using only the one base move on that one Pokemon, battle random encounters (RE). If the RE one shots you, you must catch. If the RE faints your Pokemon in more than one shot, you get to choose catch or run away. If your Pokemon faints the RE, no catch allowed.

Challenge idea: Have a pre filled box with an assortment of all stages of Pokemon (babies to legend) also have a few empty spots. Each player selects a number from the opposing players box to select for themselves Choose to keep or skip(3 skips available) If you choose skip then the next spot you pick is a must keep Pokemon If you happen to select an empty spot, the opposing player gets to give you a must take Pokemon from the box of their choosing. Idea: Catch random encounters, check their stats, and evolve them ONE TIME, either up or down, without looking at the Pokédex. This way, a baby could turn into a strong final form or a decent mid-stage, ensuring variety without drastic power gaps. I don’t think this has been done before!

Idea: You catch Pokemon at random and MUST keep whatever you catch with the following caveats: If it's a stage 1Pokemon that can evolve, you can add 2 moves to it of your choice, and an item; if it's a stage 2 Pokemon that's still not fully evolved, you can add one move of your choice and an item; if it's fully evolved, you can add one move of your choice OR an item (or nothing at all if you deem fully evolved Pokemon good enough); if they're mythical or legendary you keep them as is, without any changes or additions! You can choose whether or not you want to catch 8 and keep your best 6 or only catch 6 and use the strats as described! Obviously random movesets and abilities for all otherwise. Love the content you guys produce! Oh, and if the ability is utter trash no matter what it is you can ability capsule it to a non-trash ability, even if you get trash multiple times in a row, but it has to go from trash to trash, not farming for the best abilities you want xD

You could do a lottery game. Give each other a full pc of randomly generated Pokemon and then do a random number generator from 1-24 or the size of the pc and take 6 of them and do it not fully evolved. You can figure out which 24 pokes for each person by doing a random number generator through the Pokédex!!

Challenge idea: RNG battle. Go catch 9 random encounters and pick the best 6 but only moves that have less than 80 accuracy allowed. Status moves are ok but direct damage must be rng based. Move relearner is allowed to get the low accuracy moves.

Here's a fun one: The D&D Challenge. One player generates 3 starters and then both players take turns rolling one of the 7 dice officially used in D&D, but you don't know what the other player is rolling until after. Each dice can only be used once, so you'll be able to track which dice your opponent has used and which ones they haven't. The player who rolls the highest number gets the first pick of the 3 starters, and the loser gets to pick from the remaining 2. And for reference, the 7 dice used are a d4, d6, d8, d10, d10(with the numbers expressed in increments of 10 starting at 00), d12, and a d20. Bonus points if ya'll use your own dice sets on camera instead of an online tool.

Pokemon School yard team picks: Each catch 10 random encounters. Don't look at moves, can get a hint on what their abilities are if they use it in battle when you are catching them. After 10 randos caught (whatever you see is what you catch) each PICK and catch any overworld pokemon to be added to the pool. Can be legendary, mythical, ultrabeast, or baby troll pick. Then flip a coin to see who picks first and alternate picking pokemon out of the pool of 22 knowing only the pokemon and maybe a clue about the ability. What you get is what you get no evolution after no picking different moves no skips. Let the power of RNG bless us all for content!

Stat Rotation Challenge: Random encounters only. Evolve to final evo. Random abilities and move sets. Catch a random pokemon, generate a number between 1-7. Whatever number it lands on, you rotate (clockwise) the stats that many times. Example: You catch a Blissey. (Generally 255 HP\10 Atk\10 Def \55 Spe\135 SDef\75 SpA) You roll a 3. The stat wheel is rotated clockwise by 3. So now its stats are 55 HP\ 135 Atk\ 75 Def\ 255 Spe\ 10 SDef\ 10 SpA Roll a 7 and you get to distribute stats wherever you want.

Vs challenge - Just one only challege - full evolution pokemon only: So only catch and use pokemon of one specific colour only (for example just red, just blue, just yellow, etc.) and then one specific animal type only (for example just dog, just bird, just crocodile, etc.) Different variations are allowed as long as it sticks to the one only rule. - Random encounters only and the first pokemon appears of that animal type is your chosen animal team type moving forward (max of 3 skips are allowed) random movesets and abilities.

Video idea: Stat Shopping Both players start with 3000 coins. Catch any pokemon in the overworld, but their price is their BST. Can teach moves using the move tutor and have 2 skips. After each caught (and chosen) pokemon, you have a guess at one type that the opponent has just caught. If the opponents pokemon has that type, you can steal 100 coins from them and add it to your own budget.

I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.

It’s the wheel of changes. -So you catch random encounters -you spin a wheel 0-3+ a skip option on the wheel -whatever the result whether it’s 1-3 you’re allowed to make that many changes to either its ability or specific moves you want to change (any move in the game you want to change it into) -continue till you fill the party with 6 and full evos “Example, you catch a metang with hustle, and 3 moves that are decent. You spin the wheel and if you land on 2. You can ability capsule once and change the 4th move once. OR ability capsule twice or change the move twice. If you spin the wheel and it lands on skip, you MUST skip the Pokémon. “ EDIT: if you ability capsule and it’s your last one and you receive the abilities you guys change out normally, you can reroll again.

Challenge idea : From the first route, roll a dice. You will catch the random pokemon encounter based of the number of the dice (so, if the dice is 3, the third random encounter). But you can skip it in the middle of the encounter and go to the next route and continue the encounter (so, if i roll a 5, and after 2 i want to skip it, i will take the 3 encounter on the next route).
