WE CAUGHT CATFISH AND SLAB CRAPPIE ON YO-YO'S! ( Loser eats MINNOW! )

In today's episode, we head out on the lake to do a little catfishing with our yo yos. The action was so good that we decided to make a challenge video out of it, Boys vs Girls and that the loser would have to eat the bait... a MINNOW! Can’t blame Granny for wanting to keep the bass. When my boys were little they loved them, filleted, wrap in foil with a slightly cooked slice of bacon and a pat of butter. Bake at 350 time depending on size of filets. The fish tasted like bacon, the bacon taste like the fish. I can’t keep them now, I throw all bass back. ! Happy eating Granny.

Y'all looked like Ninja's heading out at the start of the video! And you done punched us in the eye for nothing @1:17! Those are some NICE catfish! Made my mouth water, as I Love eating catfish. yo-yo fishing is so unique, as you can be lazy..but get a wide mixture on them, as you certainly showed in this video! Also don't ever keep bass, as we throw them back, and people always talk about that..but in that instance, can understand, plus granny got hers..and that 1 was a BIGGIN! DIdn't win in the giveaway(never do ;) but a Big congratulations to the folks that did..that is a Nice rod and other things. We nailed crappie on both Fri. and Saturday, but went out again Sunday..w/a weather front and wind coming in..and didn't hardly get a bite, funny how that does that!

That was quite a minnow challenge! Granny loved the minnow eating . My teen kids used to do that often . One day someone lost they dipped a guppy out my tank drank it down oh so gross I laughed so hard 😂 lol oh how I miss it . Son will be 40 n July time passes to fast.

I don't keep many bass either but nothing wrong with using the slot limits. If you want bigger bass in your lake and more of them, thinning out the smaller ones is important.
