Catch, Clean, and Cook FROG LEGS and WAFFLES!!! Our Best Idea Ever?!?!?!

It's getting late in the frog catching season and we just came up with an idea for a dish that we had to try out: Frog legs and Waffles! We figured that if chicken and waffles was good then this should be 10x better! Join us as we go out on the lake to catch some fresh frogs and turn them into this amazing sounding dish! I saw Daniel and Huston 1st and you guys so I thought come over see yours too. I love frog legs more than fish. But they aren't as plentiful as fish. Here in Missouri our frog season hasn't opened yet. Can't wait. Great video.

I've always used a "wet" grass sack (burlap bag for 50# livestock feed) to carry frogs. It'll keep 'em fresh. Just keep the top twisted and carry it when walking the bank or put it underfoot when in a boat. Easy to drop 'em in without escapees. Put it in the cooler of ice on the way home and they're slowed down ready to clean when you get there.

The best bullfrog lure is a small hollow bodied weedless frog with the legs removed. It floats so you can catch the ones that are in open water. They will jump on it and eat it up :)

I wish I had some frog legs to catch. Nothing around here! Mountains of WV. They look so good. I love them. Used to order them every time we went to the New Orleans House in Louisville. They would have a man walk around and serve you Frog legs the whole time. Thanks for posting. Hi Cypress!

Oh yeah. What most are used to is going out with a bright light in their eyes and slip up on them and snatch them. Until gigs became legal, where you gig them. Using a jig is a Coke and Jay exclusive. Circle a knife around the waist, use catfish pliers and pull the skin off, course the legs.

Make you some flies with treble hooks. Get you a burlap sack or fruit bag like a big orange bag that oranges come in nice for putting frogs in and taking them out where they can't escape easy.
