People regularly steal items from carts and carts altogether at my location. I can't count the number of times it's happened to me. But one time: my daughter snagged these awesome Nike shoes that were definitely NWOT. She said she'd gotten them from the register because they were just pulling them out and the employee told her she could have them for $5. Fantastic, I thought. We'll take them. We go to check out and there's only one person in front of me. Between us is a cart full of AMAZING shoes. I start digging through them. The employee definitely sees me but says nothing. I think I'm about to get the best shoes I've ever gotten at the bins. The man in front of me finishes. Takes the cart in front of him and then turns around and grabs the cart of shoes. I said "Oh my gosh!!! Are these yours?! I definitely thought they were up for grabs and was digging through them. I'm so sorry!" Luckily, everyone laughed... I was MORTIFIED!

I think 1.50 day is fantastic. I wish we had that and I could shop regular thrift stores sometimes, where everything is hung on racks and it's a nice shopping experience. Don't get me wrong, I love the bins and I appreciate having one, I do not take it for granted, but it's rough. Hope you are finding some great stuff xo Q

Glad the cart rifler worked out, not sure why people would think it’s open territory. Carts are pretty universal in any store situation, but best to assume positive intent! My goal is 10 per day, but I have only managed to hit an average of 8. Some days, listing might only be a delist/relist, but I think it keeps the algorithm happy and gets fresh eyes on things.

This happened to me the first time I went to the bins - except I was that girl. And it wasn’t a cart. People in Columbia SC bins will pile things in the front of the store. Well I had never been to a bins, only thrift stores, and I saw some cool metal, copper, brass pieces there and I was like wow those look neat. They were a few small items. A lady walked up as I was looking at them and trying to decide why were they there and not in the bin bins instead. I asked her were they hers? And she said yes. I said, sorry, I’ve never been to the bins, I was just looking at the neat pieces. The bins can be quite intimidating because every one is different and definitely not like anything you experience anywhere else lol

I use dryer balls instead of dryer sheets and am very happy. Purchased them in a combo with washing sheets from clean people on Amazon. My brother was using the clean people sheets when I visited at Christmas, they work very well.

I’m a buyer and not thrilled at the new Posh fees. I’ll be switching to eBay for buying. I’ll be finding things I like on posh and then searching for it on eBay. Recently even with discounting shipping I had 11 dollars added to a 20 dollar purchase. 5.95 shipping plus 5.69 cent posh fee. That an added 50% to the purchase price

Another epic Quenby haul🎉 I am team orvis😅 I have picked it up several times and it always sells, the men's orvis sells much faster for me than women's though. The last time I went to the bins was sketchy for me too. The first thing that happened was the power had went out for an hour, which was fine, because I found a lot of great stuff with my phone flashlight 😂then when I got home I realized some figs scrub pants and some super cool beanie hats were missing😢I don't know whether they just fell out of my cart or if someone took them. Either way it was a bummer.

I agree with listing consistently. However, unfortunately, I am in between homes. My husband and I are building a new home and are temporarily renting until we can get in our new home. I am up and running on ebay and posh but have not listed anything in over 2 months. My sales are just okay. Can't wait to get moved in, set my selling room up again and get back to my consistent self. Love your videos, It makes me want this building/moving process to get the move on. My husband went to the Colorado Sprinfs bins yesterday and noticed the carts on the side. We don’t do they in our Asheville bins and he started going through them. Some older lady came over and started yelling at him. My poor 6’ husband ran off and was so embarrassed 😂 I laughed so hard when he told me. I really like your videos and your explanations about why you get (or don't get) certain items, but I have a question regarding the drama you talked about - I know most Bins stores have rules that you can't go through other people's carts, but are there rules at the Bins stores about holding claim to items you haven't bought when you leave the store? In general I would think that once you physically walk out of the store, you would lose claim to anything you didn't buy, so I'm curious if that's different at the Bins?

I think that Tshirt with the circles was a bike rider? I have to say, the first time I went to my bins, I was saddened by the amount of clothing, too much for anyone to even sort thru, going back , and possibly to land fills. It was overwhelming. I am still shocked by the amount. I have stopped purchasing “real” clothes, I wish I had started sooner but it just came to ILL recently.

I do believe what doesn’t sell at the bins gets made into bales or crates by GW and they ship it to places for recycling of the materials that are recyclable. I’m with you on the amount of waste our world has. I try to make consistent effort to buy foods with the smallest amount of packaging, also save all the plastic bags from bread etc. and use them instead of zip lock bags. Here in Washington they are extremely pro recycle and in some counties they penalize you for putting items in your trash that is compostable or recyclable. I cringe when I’m at Costco and see all the carts filled with plastic. I’ve even switched to sheets for my laundry, no more huge plastic containers, I also use bar soap not the liquid, am also going to buy shampoo and conditioner bars when I need to refill.

I'll be straight up with you. For most of us, youtube takes years to gain followers, esp if you don't know everyone in the community or have a large following on other social media platforms. All I can say is to stick with it. It took me almost a year to hit 1K and get monitized. Be consistent and put up a video every week if you can. Reach out to other channels that are the same size and ask to do a collab video so their followers will get to know you. My channel has grown slowly because I can't do 3 videos a week like most people, but I keep chugging along. xo Q
