Hey y'all, That is so different from goat banding. The lambs are so quiet the goats cry and scream and carry on like they are being skinned alive and that is just when you pick them up before you even grab the bander!!!

Oh yeah, it has to be uncomfortable…but in our experience it doesn’t last long. They get back to normal quickly.

Hello from Cedar City Utah. Your ram has an impressive set of horns. I don't think he's very happy being away from his lady's. How do you process sheep so it doesn't taste bad?

Hello Debbie! No he is not. He would love to be with them all the time. So our sheep our hair sheep and they are notoriously a little milder than wool sheep. Castrating helps, butchering in the 1 year range helps…and grass feeding limits the fat on the carcass…and most of that strong flavor is in the fat. Thanks so much for the comment. 😊
