Compy are the real land-based apex (least in a group). Takes 3 to take down a full grown rex. Once you make it sit/think it it safe. As well as get those damage buffs up. Two of us were in Great Plains yesterday and we bulled out a mixed pack of five raptors (Utah, velo and laten). They could not catch us and we bled three of them out while the other two ran.

When you think about in regards to their size, Compies are essentially playable critters, more so than Megalania makes me think so in comparison to the rest of the base-game and mod rosters.

Axe, just so you know, the compy gets killed by anything that is running. They step on you and that is what kills you. They don't always mean to and they aren't always attacking. It's just the compys are very susceptible to trampling. As one who mainly plays compy, I know very well. Also, they are extremely fast. Not even a raptor can outrun them. And they have the most stamina of any creature both modded and vanilla. They also have some awesome abilities that you didn't even look at. :P

For the raptor, it might depend on the build and how much distance was between you at the start. Mainly compy (speed build) here, and I didn't move from my observation rock when a fight between a Utah and something else was going on next to it. Utah got on my rock, I ran and he chased me, and he was maintaining himself behind me snapping at me and killing me. I should have moved earlier instead of assuming he wouldn't go for a compy while fighting something bigger.

@@esunablizzard6482 True. But I was also a speed build and the Utah I raced was just milliseconds slower than me. I had the upper had though.. it was tall grass.

Compy is a free mod from Divine Beasts. So it can only be used on community servers with the compy mod as one of their enabled mods. It's loads of fun. But Axeman had more skins than me... I wonder what skin mods he has that I don't...

@@meryfuentes1761 I'm not sure how it works on mobile, as I play on my PC. On the PC version, there are buttons for selecting multiplayer, single player, community, mods, and settings. Mods take us to the mod page where we select the one we want and it downloads and installs it for us. I don't know what the mobile menu system looks like...
