Instead of thinking about it start doing it... that's basically the only advice I can give you mostly because I'm still figuring it out for my self, trying things out, experimenting with music type, loudness, transitions, story to text etc... and I'm still not satisfied with any of it.

The base is too expansive brother and not worth the effort because of some in game limitations. I'm working on a new base atm for Season 4.
