I’d just like to say something about SCP RP: If anyone claims they’re with an “Ethics Committee,” I would probably smack them with an arrest under suspicion of espionage. The Foundation’s lore, as documented on the SCP wiki, *has no Ethics committee.*. The experiments performed using D-Classes are not ethical because they are performed by necessity to understand that which otherwise cannot be understood and to contain that which cannot be contained without sacrifice. If anyone from the wiki sees this, please like and reply so Jay sees this and messes with the servers using actual facts because the admin crapstorms will be LEGENDARY.

Yeah, lets just ignore the large amount of documentation of the ethics committee. They definitely did not execute the entire 05 council for use of scps for personal gain, they definitely did not agree to wipe out humanity on that other article too. They do not exist.

@@dremdram5496 it’s hardly recognized in more recent content. In Series I, it was a joke among the writers. Sure, it was better represented in Series II and III as a serious element of the Foundation with powers rivaling even the O5 Council, but after that, it’s only ever mentioned once per series, twice at best, and that’s about it, and if you look at more recent series, there’s hardly ever a single reference! It’s as if they either don’t exist or they’re not needed! Also, consider the kinds of people that would be on the Ethics Committee in SCP RP: the killjoys and party-poopers. In SeriousRP, I understand having a few EC players to keep the scientists’ imagination from going places where even Sarkic cultists would cringe, but if people want to have fun on a server like most of that server’s population, then having an Ethics Committee would go against the whole point of SCP RP: enjoying the inherent chaos of the SCP multiverse.
