This is at your own risk I do not recommend this. If you are seeking to do sublimation printing 24 inch wide, get epson f 570 printer 🖨 for #sublimation.

​@@leviteapparel I'm confused. Why do a tutorial showing how to convert and then comment that you don't recommend someone do this? Also do you clean the bottles before putting in sub ink, if so then how? Thanks.

@staceyisabelle7526 the reason is because I did it but that doesn't mean you have to you can buy your own sublimation printer already made printer. But this is something I did to help alleviate the custom of a real sublimation. And yes, you do have to clean the bottles to remove the old ink.

@KingKong-ps3xs I spoke with the company. They said you can call them regardless what your issue they will help. I did this before I purchase it to make sure my subscribers are able to get good help.

How's the printer now? Is it still working properly? I have the same printer. I received it for free brand new. I still have it in the box and was contemplating if I want to sell it or just keep it. I've been wanting a large format sublimation printer. When I first got it, I've been looking up if I can convert it. I've read something about canon head is a thermal head and it wouldn't work and mess up the printer. After I read that I said I was just going to use it just to print out custom wraps for party favors and etc.

Has your printer head clogged from this yet? I was told this is why they don't recommend you convert thermal head printers to sublimation. Epson uses piezo unlike Canon. Piezo is recommended for this and the ink clog issue is the only thing that's stopped me from buying. It can be an expensive fix.

Got this printer in 2 days ago and I’m yet to be able to print even a test sheet, I’ve probably tried yo feed plain paper roll for 4 hours in total, I keep getting code 1300 for paper jam, I make sure the paper roll is 100% straight and keep getting code, This printer is such a major headache if anyone can help me thank you please!!

Such a headache I wish I would've purchased it wait a few weeks until the print head stops .. I took mine out the box and the print head didn't work they replaced it 2 weeks later now having the same issue 2 months later
