Great video ! I would be in the marked for a electrified motordog ! Please do a range-test !!!

"the only issue in my mind is range" well yeah.....but look at all that damn space you have....fill that with batterys! or even have hot swapable batterys so you effectively double range with almost no drawback.

Weight vs ah. I’d imagine there has to be a balance. Also weight for iced over bodies of water.

Awesome! Do more stuff like this. Surprised how affordable the conversion was.

Very cool electric conversion, been wanting to make one out of an old skidoo.

You need to install a solar panel for recharge where no power outlet is to be found.
@RMW3 жыл бұрын
I think there is not enough space to make solar panel be quite efficient

We definitely need a range test!

thats a big battery! its really interesting, I like the heating panels inbetween battery cells. The cost is high, but that'll come down in time, you guys need some snow! we've not had much in Canada this year either.

Thx for watching! Looking forward to much snow!

@@RMW Please do a range test! Could you list the parts you used to convert it to electric? :) Link to the guys workshop in the video?

I wanted to see this! What's the range? Put a generator on board, make it hybrid. My wish is a floating amphibious electric snowdog

Outstanding...

Interesting project. As a range extender, why not fit a friction generator to charge the cells while its moving long and also a solar panel. Talking of range, how many Kilometers does it do at the above freezing temperature and then at the below freezing temperature?

The electric sled is great. Thank you. Russia is so beautiful.

i wonder how muck solar it would take to charge it in a reasonable amount of time?...very interesting as always...thanks ...Creator bless...doug

The battery is huge, dont think any solar is able to charge it

@@RMW probably right...i have a friend here with 14,000 watts...petro is energy dense and constantly being created contrary to what tHEY want us to believe...always look forward to your vids brother...doug

Might help the electric one to add some weight to it. Might get better traction. I have an electric snow blower and I had to add sandbags to it because it was too light.
@pipeboy982 жыл бұрын
i would like to know what the weight difference between the 2 models was. eventually someone's going to be lifting into the back of a pickup to take it somewhere...that's where i think the cordless will shine!

I would never risk to go with an eletric sled into the Wilderness of Siberia during Wintertime.

Can you mount an old style generator to the trailr axles to augment pwr supply to the drive batteries? And is a removable solar panel powerful enough to trickle charge the batteries when out on the frontier.?
