Hey Cajun Cousins. My first time visiting your channel. I'm from NY born and raised (downstate NYC) but my mom (RIP) was from South Carolina. We say stuffing and dressing interchangeably but they aren't the same. Stuffing is usually made with onions, peppers, croutons, stock and seasons, no meat, very dry then baked while dressing is more wet and have more ingredients like yours.Your stuffed peppers and dressing looked delicious.

Ok NYC!!! Thank you so much!!! Idk why I’m so confused on what it is called but growing up I would hear both names for the same dish lol. Thank you for sharing and giving us a lesson as well I really appreciate it!!

I make and eat dressing. Living in Florida last 24 years raised in Chicago. I used the terms interchangeably until my daughter, she straightened me out 😅. It’s dressing ma!

Loving your video. I'm from Philly too but my grandma was from North Carolina and she always said dressing. Everything in the dressing was cooked prior to stuffing it into the tired and the extra was in a another dish and baked. I make cornbread dressing but I don't think it is as popular up north.

Ok PHILLY!!!! I visited there once for the lady in the video.. Mama Jacket birthday about 2 years ago. We made a mistake and drove from Atlanta 😫😫 so we didn’t get to go anywhere because most of our time was wasted on the road, but definitely will come back! And the same with my Grandma she would use some for stuffing and the extra for other things.. I guess that why I just don’t know what to call it.. dressing or stuffing lol. Thank you for engaging and I hope you enjoy the channel 🙏🏾 I’m very new at this and extremely nervous 😬 but seeing all the comments definitely helps me. Thank you so much!!!! ❤️

The difference between stuffing vs dressing is stuffing is stuffed in a Turkey or vessel of choice. (Protein, pepper. Etc.)Dressing is considered a side and prepared separate from the Turkey or meat of choice. I grew up on dressing because my Mom always made Oyster dressing, dirty dressing using the insides of the Turkey because she didn’t throw anything away and “straight dressing- no meat or anything in it”. Great video “

I love this. Yall keep going. The way the camera is moving and the music behind the talking makes it hard to watch and hear. I'm looking forward to seeing more, though.
