Let me try again,as i think KZbin swallowed my first comment. First off all i apologize Kathy,i must have included the norwegian words for "Late Night" wich is "Senkveld",and then "juledugnad" wich is norwegian for "christmas charity". Just so you understand better. The young woman on a Cello (Donna is right there) is Kaja,she is a close friend of Astrid S,she has also played for several other norwegian artists over the years,and she tends to befriend them all,shes just as sweet as Astrid is. So you didnt mess up anything there,i just confused you by bringing up the norwegian words,wich is completely my bad,i apologize. Here is a little additional info about these performances from Astrid herself: Astrid and Kaja did play/perform this song live in that little watch tower/lookout tower. I believe the piano was carefully transported there by helicopter,and then they decorated the spot with lights,to create abit of that christmas spirit. But everything else,like Astrid walking in the woods up till this tower etc,is pre recorded and edited in,to make this look more like a music video. I know back in the day,this would be way too difficult to "film and edit" the same way,but technology has come such a long way,i see these performances being made all the time these days. I loved the reaction,and i did link Astrid the reaction once it had fully released (i waited it out until you officially made it public) The more you watch both uptempo songs from her,as well as her acoustic performances,she does alot of these "recorded live sessions",making it look like a music video. Like the first one you did,where she was only accompanied by her guitarist. One i have in mind now is a collaboration she did with one of her musical besties. Maybe i`ll suggest that one next to you,its a very feel good music video where you get to see why so many falls for Astrids charm. They even have a acoustic live for the same song,and i know at least 1 other reaction channel that did it like a "2 for 1",so he could see both the uptempo original and hear them acoustic and live. Maybe if i gave you some coffees and dr pepper i could put that in as a request? I dont normally request 2 songs,but its lovely to hear the difference between theyr studio and live voices together. If this sounds like something you would like,you can let me know. I defintly think that next time i give you anything from Astrid S,its gonna be something abit more uptempo. I dont know how familiar you 3 are with Dolly Parton,but Astrid S made a stunning version of her song Jolene at the age of 16 (i believe she turned 17 towards the end of her season of Idol in 2013) Shes just one of those artists that you dont see alot of reactions to on youtube,but the ones that has done reactions to her before i introduced her on this channel,they all end up loving her. So when i say that shes really underrated,its with good reason. Hopefully i can contribute to some of your regular viewers discovering her,and liking her music. But i dont want to overdo my requests as only Astrid S,i want to give you some variety,so i will use the holidays to think out some good options for 2024. Im guessing you are trying to finish up the requests and the other reactions you have on hold,before the holidays now? There wont be any reactions between christmas eve and new years eve? Only thing that popped into my mind now was a performance by an artist i couldnt find you doing on the channel before,and the video is perfect for "preparing for 2024",without spoiling the actual video. It could also work for something to suggest right after new years,so no worries there. Just something that popped into my head. Hopefully youtube doesnt swallow this one too lol.
