Some years ago a team of American journalist went to Japan to do a documentation on marine wildlife because they heard the rumors that dolphins and killer whales we're disappearing by the number of full pods and one night when they're secretly filming near the ocean trying to catch people in the act they came across a horrific discovery where they filmed like 7 or 8 Japanese fishermen boats off the coast chasing a huge pod of dolphins swimming for their lives with over 30 Japanese people jumping from the boats into the water with Spears and machetes while surrounding and just massacring every dolphin or within Arm's Reach. Once the American journalists got back to their hotel they posted the video on social media and then the following day the Japanese government somehow had the pull to have the video flagged and taken down from all platforms and it felt like the American journalist had just exposed the world's elitist because the following day after the video got taken down from the moment they left their hotel to the moment the left Japan they were being followed everywhere by what seemed to be like either Japanese spy's or Japanese FBI which was abnormally strange because the American Journalist came to Japan with the expression that the Japanese government was against fisherman killing dolphins and whales but it was pretty evident at that point that the government is clearly involved with covering up the incident and using Men in Black like intimidation tactics like having members of high-ranking agencies above the law following the Americans all over the place. Stuff like that is the reason why I wouldn't be surprised if our own government has a hand in the human trafficking racketeer because it's pretty strange how every time one of these elitists that get locked up who's connected to the Human Trafficking Organization is found dead in their cells before getting a chance to speak to anyone 🤔

Yup. For a while, that was the dumbass issue of the day distracting from actual problems. Naturally, South Park pointed out how absurd it was for us to get our feelings twisted up over whales and dolphins when we consume billions of cows and chickens annually.

Even here in Europe.we have three countries that practice whaling like.the Japanese (although not as cruelly as Japan), the Far Øer Islands (a Danish colony), Norway and Iceland to a certain extend. The fact that these places are not in the European Union (Far Øer Islands though are under an EU country) also is because of that and special privileges they wish to preserve

If I had to guess the reason why Japan would hunt whales and dolphins so much. It's probably as simple as them not wanting them to eat the fish they catch for themselves. They are an island country so a lot of the meat they consume is fish. While they do have farmland, it's not nearly as much as we have here in the US, so they don't have as much beef or pork readily available. That being said, this doesn't mean I support the practice but understand that at one point, this may have been a necessity for them to preserve a vital food source.
