What kind of masochists say that? I can't think of a single fishing mini game that I actually feel positively towards. It's basically a scale from indifference (something like Animal Crossing or Monster Hunter) to pure seething hatred (like Stardew Valley or Big the Cat's story in Sonic Adventure)

Seeing how the higher percents made it a lot harder you could also do this with rules set to stamina mode with higher launch rate so knockback stays the same.

Very fun to watch! I think if you guys decide to do it next time, getting to 10 without getting it in should add additional strokes as a penalty - maybe count it as 11 or 12. That way there's still incentive to getting the ball in at 10 strokes when you're at 9, as opposed to getting to 9 and giving up.

I think it could be great if you were in training mod and set the percentage to jigglypuff for each stroke to define the strength you put in

Little rule about golf to know about, if you whiff the ball, it actually counts as a shot, so VyQ actually did the first hole in two shots and not a hole in one. The rule says: "As long as you intended to hit the ball and you whiff, it counts.", the "intended to hit" also mean that if you accidentally shoot a ball (because you were practicing your shot) it will actually not count.

First part is correct. The second one is not. If you hit the ball, no matter if it was intended or not, it counts. I'm a 2hcp golf player 😊

You could put the exit teleporter into the stage behind a semisolid below the stage, so the ball can not go back into it.

I should've put less arms in each of the spinning obstacles, 4 and 8 are overkill, I would've done 2 in an L shape for the first two or 3 arms, and for the last one, from 4 to 6 arms.

Kirby strat was the way to go. I got Jigglypuff stuck to the windmill and go around a few times before she fell on the hole. It was in 3 shots. Would have loved to save video of it. But couldn’t save the match due to it being done under unlimited time. I know this comment comes in way late. But I just had to say it is indeed possible!
