In my experience: 1) You send your girl to school 2) She comes home and you say 'how was your day'? 3) She gives you a complete blow-by-blow of everything that happened in between seeing you. On the other hand 1) You send your boy to school 2) He comes home and you say 'how was your day'? 3) He has apparently joined a secret society with a code of silence, so you start a conversation like this: 'OK' 'What did you do?' 'Nothing' 'What did you learn?' 'Nothing' 'Make any friends?' 'Eh' 'What are you doing tomorrow?' 'I don't know.' 4) And so on until you give up or he says 'I got stuff to do.' Your results may vary. But get after him to learn swordsmanship! (and Congratulations, too)
