Haha that is true at times and not so true at others! Half a 3 pound Bobo got us a mako. 4 pound hunk of Ray got a 10ft 4 tiger this fall. 15 pound tuna head got us a 5ft sandbar lol

@@GulfCoastNation yeah dusky wasn't a giant but a solid 8.6 made the trip worth it non stop action with the sand bars only had me and my buddy and doubled up twice was pretty sick definitely not tx winter fishing lol

Score 1 for sandbars. The worst are when they are the 3ftrs at least foul hooked or 6ft plus they fight some. 6ft foul hooked sandbar feels like 9ft lemon
@GulfCoastNation3 жыл бұрын
Haha no doubt, they can be tricky

You know you are good when you are targeting different places to hook a shark!!!🤣. We have all foul hooked fish. The fight will mess with what you think you have. Great video, a foul hooked fish is still fun to fight!!!!

Good commentary. I’ve been shark fishing for 20 years. Sorry about the foul, but you know your sport. I showed this video to my kids for the correct way to fight a shark with a harness.

Sometimes a fish just really wants to get hooked, even in the fin lol. For your float lines, I was just wAtching your set up video you mention sandbags. How much weight / how big are the bags you’re using as your breakaways? Thanks!
@GulfCoastNation3 жыл бұрын
Haha no doubt 😅🙈 We use sandbags that are biodegradable if the current us bad. Fill em up to be like 8-10 pounds or so!
