Great job! I got a best of a 6.90/108 in the 1/8 with a nearly identical build. SBE 5.9 with the EQ heads in a 3000lb car on about 12psi. I eventually lifted a ring when accidentally over advancing the timing.

That’s good mph! Best 1/8 is 6.60 at 105. I wish the Dakota was lighter.

I think you're doing the right change. My Duster seemed to be faster with the 3.23's than it does with the 3.73's. I may build another center with 3.55's. My 3.23's had by far the best 60ft.

It seems to be working out good. No more limiter at the end of the track. It just will take a little more rpm and boost to get it going.

I know you are using the EQ cast iron heads 2.02 intake Would you say they are benefit for durability vs say using the new trick flow aluminum heads. I:E Better head sealing against the block and less prone to blowing head gaskets when using a cast iron head?
@ThatTurboDakota Жыл бұрын
It really doesn’t matter as far as sealing goes. If it’s in your budget to get the TF heads do it! They flow really well. Way better than my EQ’s
