A completely different joy has been felt in this market. The various stalls, motorbikes, crazy traffic, colorful buses, old buildings, country markets were all amazing. And I found this park in Karachi surprisingly endearing. Especially the sunset light here was very refreshing.

Karachi is one of the most safest places for women. You won't hear stupid stuff accept the way they portray in the western propoganda channels. I have lived half of my life in Karachi and rest in the west but man I miss Karachi like anything not once I have to face harrasment. Yes everywhere around the world there good and bad people so no place on earth is heaven. But karachi never sleeps. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

@Sun Kissed Bucket List did you travel by bus or rickshaw? How would you feel on your own, without a man next to you all the time? All my family are in Karachi and they are not rich (ie not living in Society, Defence, Clifton). Nobody uses the buses. Nobody is out after sunset if you don't have a car or not with a man. I visited after 17 years and felt there are less women on the streets than in the 90s. I did not feel comfortable as a woman there - not unsafe, just more mens eyes and how they talk down to you and ridicule you especially if you are unsure. Did not feel comfortable as a person there - need money to be in a car etc. Not much life for children either. Rarer to see children playing in the streets. No local parks that are clean, decent playing equipment, that don't have rough men sleeping or staring (I don't mean travelling 1h across the city to one special park that costs 1000s as a one off)

This is the bit I hate, when you want to go to a more traditional marketplace and the creepy stares and brushes past you. For these we need to design a summer “ cactus suit” one with harmles. But nevertheless little spikes on it so no one wants to come near you😂🌵🦺👖
