When unboxing something heavy, there's two ways to do it, open the top cardboard, do not remove the foam packing. Turn the box over and lift the box off, easy as pie! Alternate is to open the bottom of the box, then turn it over and remove the box, once the box is off then you can remove the foam packing. Either method saves a lot of heavy lifting as all you are lifting is the box.

That's funny you said food delivery... Seth actually said that about this wheel... I cut it out from the final vid. Rob, what minimum real world range would you need on your ideal wheel?
@robaba893 жыл бұрын
@@freshlycharged Hey Jimmy! On an average day, I'll put in ~50 miles and have ~40% left. Gotta stop around that point because I start getting beeps at 35-40mph. It's too risky to ride at speed on low battery. I'd say 60-70 usable miles would be super ideal. By usable, I'm talkin @top cruising speed and safe from sag if you need to push the motor. I do wonder about these new cells in the Abrams (Samsung 21700 50E) and if they are enough of an upgrade that 2700WH would feel like more than I'm used to. I got to ride with Seth at Valmont once. I was on my s18. We might have talked about it a little that day lol- look forward to riding with him again, and maybe you too one day!
@robaba893 жыл бұрын
@@eRideLife Sup Seth! Yeah.. stairs ain't the best. With the torque and huge tire on the Abrams you could probably push it up easily enough from behind. Honestly I don't really encounter stairs that are too far from the door most the time. 99% of the time the base of the stairs is within eyesight or earshot of the delivery.

@@robaba89 The samsung 21700 50e is sooooo strong. I have them in my EX.N HS and even in cold weather I am getting awesome range. Newer model wheels should have improved firmware and algorithms. This is displayed by the reaction owners of the Sherman when riding it. I would expect it to be more like the V12 in response than the Sherman, TBH. There are not really the same innovative leaps in hardware that can happen in the industry, and that will continue to slow because that's what commoditization is, but new/improved software/firmware features can spring up and blindside the competition. I think that's what the V12 did more than anything else when it came out - people were talking about how you can control your accel/decel curves directly, et al, and it's SW/FW things like that which cause people to have a better overall experience when using it and they'll naturally gravitate towards that even if it costs a little more or the long term reliability of the model is known yet. The S20 brought full coil over progressive link suspension to the table which drove the industry to have to deal with it. There were suspension models but that leapfrogged all the MTB airshock types as well as the non-link suspension (like the V11 vs the S18) and went straight to where full dirtbike suspension is today, solving the problem of "what happens when I am my own swingarm?"

The Abrams is the first wheel to come out with a body on frame construction. Imagine if it’s meant to ride naked and hang double it’s stock config of batteries for a whopping 5400wh. Only an additional 27lbs. From what I can tell … reviews said it’s more torquey than the Sherman. It brakes harder than the Monster Pro. Let’s not forget there’s no replacement for the large wheel size in stability. 20” Sherman is good all around but at speed and needing to carve, it can get squirrelly where many experience riders know the large wheel will be more stable at speed. You can tell from Afeez videos that the Abrams will out accelerate a Sherman. 2700wh is 70-90km of hard riding. I really want to get this wheel but yeah it’s weird it’s not 3200wh right out of the box. Abrams Max anyone?
