Love that Save the children shop! Last time I was in there picked up a couple of New Sealed games for £5, plus New with tags T-Shirts for £3, including a Deus ex Machina one that sold for £40 I think 😅 My aunt actually worked at the Laura Ashley factory in Carno, a very small town in mid wales 😊

If you’re both ever passing M22 there’s a charity shop nearby where everything is £1, I bought a genuine Gucci GG logo teddy bear key ring and a Swarovski heart key ring that were in a box of bits on the floor, or another I go to which I think you’d both like is Eammus Mossley quite an electic mix of Errol/Nathan furniture etc ground floor, tea room, antiques, memorabilia on part of the second floor, the other part of the second floor is packed with everything and anything from toys, bed linen (bought a lovely vintage Dorma eiderdown something maybe Lola would like) clothing etc 😊

This is getting harder to do, where I live. I think, as we see a wave of younger people completing voluntary work in charity shops, we see less of these sorts of bargains available. Younger people spot them and price them accordingly and they are also aware of the vintage resale market.

Hey guys, it must be getting so much harder to find good stuff at decent prices these days,not only are a lot of the Charity Shops getting wise to brands but they really are asking top prices these days. Some are ok, like Bolton Hospice, they still sell stuff at really good prices, even f they do realise it’s a good brand it will still be at a price you could make good money on, or just to keep as I do and as my wife volunteers for them she gets stuff on approval to pay for the week later as she only does Friday mornings and Saturday. I did get a nice vintage Armani Jumper for £3.50 not long after she started.

It’s not always the best but I go to a lot of shops so it builds up over the day! I’m always of the belief that’s there something in every shop! I just don’t know enough to find it!

@@Chaddypete so many brands these days, was out tonight and there must have been about 6/7 lads in REPRESENT hoodies and sweatshirts, definitely one I’ll be staying away from. Reminds me when they all wore Ed Hardy tees
