On Justin's home farm, he has implemented a strategy of planting corn, leaving a few acres standing throughout the fall and winter, and then mowing it down in the harsh winter months to provide the deer with a natural food resource that is easy for them to find and fill their bellies with.
Consider something like this on your own farm to provide the deer with a reason to stay put in the harsh, cold, winter months!!
