There is no better testimony of an animal being completely at peace and happy, comfortable and feeling safe, than being willing to act on something as vulnerable as laying an egg (potential offspring), if and when it would not be safe to do so. True testimony to Cog Hill Farm and what you do for your animals. Absolute respect.

You guys inspire me with every single video. I also have an autoimmune disease and there's a lot of my days that I just can't get everything done. When I started watching your channel 6 years ago I didn't have any animals and no garden. Now we have 150 chickens, 10 goats, 9 rabbits and 11 cats, along with a 60'x80' garden with around 30 3'x4' raised beds. I have been working on the garden for 6 years and every year I'm adding more. This year I planted lots of zinnia because I just didn't have the energy to have lots of veggies and be able to take care of them. Next year I might only plant flowers but they bring me so much peace. Thanks for sharing all that you do.

My son in Iowa has many apple trees. He makes his own apple cider. It’s the best I’ve ever had. He presses and has many gallons and he freezes it. He mixes a variety of different apples to make his cider. He’s on the family farm that’s been in the family for over 100 years. Perhaps you should consider pressing some of your apples.

Well I took one and took a bite of that beautiful peach colored fruit!! Instantly my mouth felt like I had a mouth full of cotton! Couldn't swallow my spit!!LOL 😅 I found out from my mom that you shouldn't eat them until after the first frost when they start to fall off the tree!
