Bean curd (Tau Foo Fah) is a favourite - especially for breaking fast during the fasting month. You should scoop it together with the caramel (palm sugar caramel) as the bean curd itself is tasteless if not a bit bitter. It's supposed to soothe and improve digestion. Great content guys.

But one thing for sure, if u are looking for the best teh tarik in town, look no other than the place that u had them earlier today. Good luck to both of you! Have a safe journey during your stay in Malaysia and should you need any help, u can always look for me at the same spot where we met today! Adieu!

My favourite snacks whenever I pass by Chinatown. As for the soya bean I opt for mixture of the hot bean curd with the cold soya bean juice
@wirliam30032 жыл бұрын
Amazing, you found Shin Kee Beef noodles. That place is old....dates back to more than 30 years old. You should try the 100 year old pastry shop in Petaling Street known as "Fung Wong" - they moved to the new premises just 30 metres away from the old one near the "Apam Balik" uncle.
@ShevandDev2 жыл бұрын
Ah thank you for the recommendations! The noodles were amazing 😍
@wirliam30032 жыл бұрын
@@ShevandDev beef noodles in that vicinity is sometimes a "local controversy". Some prefer the shop opposite , in "lai foong", or even the one nearer the masjid jamek lrt station - "Soong kee". Anyways, there are a lot of hidden eats around Chinatown which has been there for more than 40 years...even some in the famed "Madras lane". You can also try the unnamed hidden "Pau stall" which has made Pau the traditional way for several generations. The location is only spread by word of mouth..and because of its unassuming shop look from outside, hard for me to tell the location.....

Your kidney will go bad if you adding soy sauce to every dish you take. In Malaysia, mostly every dish is already spiced up with just the right amount of saltiness, sweetness or spiciness. Try the original taste first before adding anything into it. And we usually separate the chilies/garlic/soy sauce into sauce plate.
