Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. Among/Goose Goose Duck us has 2 roles (without mods), town of salem has 33 different characters in the base game. Town of Salem is a great alternative to Among Us/Goose Goose duck if you're looking for another game in the social deduction genre. I think it's because they have voting power, where 1 witch wouldn't be able to up anyone, but if the jailor were to misjail then the game could've drawn or something

Interesting. Witches can confirm a 2nd witch exists in All Any, it helps a witch understand why their ability didn't work, and it's balanced out by the target being informed. Looks like Transporters aren't informed, but they both end up transporting targets in a big clusterfuck (see Wiki)

​​@@raechel381 I used to be good thanks to shadowbeatz in 2018 when jailor meta was at its peak and made it 1900 elo. unfortunately I fell out of love with the game because I was playing it so seriously and eventually quit. came back in 2021 and only play casually now (if I do play, which isn't often)

If those who don't know: In cases where people have the same exact role, the player who joined the lobby first is given higher night priority. However, for witch, the later witch gets control of their target because they overwrite not only their target's first target but also on other witches who attempts to control them.

So if you are witch (earlier player) pitting against another witch they have their advantages against each other witch are: 1. If both witches control each other, you will control the later witch's first target. This means you will control the witch into someone you want them to control. (In a very rare case of you controlling witch into yourself, you will be witched but you will not do anything because you have already used your night action controlling the witch. You will not even visit the witch's second target since you have visited the witch to control yourself. Difficult to prove because this needs a tracker to confirm this interaction which Tracker and Witch cannot be in the same game) 2. If both witches control the same target, the later witch gets control of their target.

Those games were both kinda cursed, with witches controlling the same target for so long, and game not ending due to some werid stuff, second game has any mafia and jailor dying n1 due to cl having the best luck, followed by being lynched, followed by 5 being healed kinda guaranteed the game for mafia. Also the legitimate surprise in your voice when you saw 15 was "survivor" lmao

Well, witch can’t be in a game with coven so definitely not that however yes, especially controlling framers onto other maf in a confirmed spy game. Makes the spy info that much less reliable and gives cover if a sheriff/invest checks them

I think if there are 2 witches (honestly even 1 witch is sufficient) AND a town killing then the game won't end. Jailor with executions is town killing and it was still possible although unlikely for a witch (or 2) to force jailor to execute a townie if jailor jailed one. So my guess is that the game would auto-end the moment jailor has no executions left.

It is definitely a rare message since it requires at least 2 witches both being on the same target and there is always a witch that physically can’t get that message in the lobby (later join has priority on this one so they won’t ever see it)

Oh yeah, I got that. On the worst game of my life- I think I told you before, but i was a witch that won with evils, knew who the other witch was- and voted them out anyway. Because I was 9. And didn’t connect the dots. That they were the witch. They were a really good sport about it, but I’m still absolutely mortified, 6 years later. They even acknowledged they should’ve said something.

Most likely you were visited by CL and Hypno, because Hypno can cause the Witching message.
