When it's really hot, you have to be drinking water constantly. Also, if you ever notice that you stop sweating, STOP working immediately. Don't go into a cold atmosphere, just go sit in the shade and drink, drink, drink. Allow your body to gently cool down. Also, don't work in the hottest part of the day. Your viewers opinions of how fast you get something done doesn't matter. Those of us who love yall understand. Your health and happiness are what is most important. I was just thinking about the percussive nature of some of the fireworks and what that would do to such a tiny dog- the kind where you can feel it when they go off. I can remember retreating to the house with my 11 month old to protect him from that and the noise.

Good morning Gary and Mel, take care in the heat. I live in the tropics here in Townsville , Queensland in the great southern land, and the heat and humidity knock me around. I drink water often, a water bottle nearby, wear a wicking neck cooler, wear baggy saggy shirt - about 2 sizes bigger so I don’t feel the clothes holding the heat in. Our humidity effectively neutralizes the cooling effect of our sweat, I think it must be the same for you. It’s that weather to be wary of as the heat sneaks up and you have headaches before you know it. On the high work, please get help so you both don’t overdo the lifting and stretching overreach. I agree with you Gary about getting it done, you want to get it done right and there are lots of things that need to be done without any visual progress, but every little thing is getting you closer. Take care stay healthy and safe and see you on your next.

We finally had a 4 day cool down. We are heading back towards the suffocating heat. After the heart procedure I just had I have to stay inside and get frustrated. Those heat advisories are no joke. People have gone out and just collapsed or had heart attacks. Stay safe cause we love you both❤❤❤

In Arkansas Place the double-bagged fireworks in the household trash or take them to your local solid waste facility. You can contact your local fire department or solid waste facility as other disposal options may be available in your community.

Ok, here's my take on the old fireworks situation. As long as the person (Gary) is far away from the house and people and him being a very responsible person normally, I'd just fire them off as well. That way, nobody is close by to get hurt and he's far enough from any of your buildings and such it will be safe to " light them up!" So I say, Go for it Gary! Thats what the fire department will do anyway so why bother them. ❤

Do not work very long in the heat warning, stay hydrated. Heat stroke will kill, my late husband was working in a Plant he was a pipe fitter. He got heat stroke, they shoved bags of ice down his pants on his feet neck head to get him cooled down then rushed him to the hospital for IVs.

Heck yeah, fire them up. lol The way we handled the heat was we had a water mister, when we got really hot we would turn the water on, let it cool down the turn the mister in our face and head, worked great for us. Also, we started early and quit early.

With Texas Roots channel he's having issues with with heat and hurricane season he and his family dad brother work ear!y morning 2 hours and again later in the day early evening 2hours..that's a smart way to do it with extreme heat. Hi guys. I’m going to have to side with Gary. The best way to get rid of questionable fireworks is to light them up and let them do what they’re going to do. There’s no telling how old those mortars were when you got them. So there’s that. Gary’s idea to do it safely is my recommendation. But what do I know. I’m just a retired welder.
