The Eden Project has been on my list since the beginning of the channel. I left it until I'd done a few videos, so I kind of knew what I was doing before I went to Eden.

Mad to think that used to be an operating clay pit once upon a time. Tim Schmitt designed it all. Nice one CA.

This one's been on my list since I started. It is an incredible place to visit. I was going to put some older pictures on the video, but I was concerned about copyright, etc. I compromised and put the Eden link in the video description. I think the step by step pictures are on their site.👍

Great video and views us virtual tourist would not get to experience. 👍⭐⭐⭐ Good gentleman from Health and Safety and drone discussion by both. Web site include good photos of the quarry site and appears many of the roads and terrain were well repurposed for the Eden Project. Thanks Cornwall Audits and Eden Project for the virtual tour of the site.

It was one of the videos that I was looking good forward to filming as I knew it'd make great content😀

I don't know why this guy is asking the Eden Project if he can fly his drone over their site. This is not a no fly zone according to the CAA. These companies need to realise they don't own the air space above their properties. A registered drone pilot has as much right to fly as a light aircraft or a balloon over any land.
@CornwallAudits3 ай бұрын
That's exactly the reason that I went to the Eden Project. I agree that they can stop you from taking off and landing on their property, but they can't stop you flying over if you launch from a public area.

Just how much did they pay for airspace???
@CornwallAudits6 ай бұрын
To be fair I can kind of understand why they don't WANT drones overhead, which is why I compromised slightly by not flying straight out over the pit. On the other hand, I could've If I'd chosen to.

It's the only way I'll get to see the place, with tickets at £42 and no discount for pensioners or the disabled, just like the rest of rip of Cornwall, a beautiful place full of greedy businesses.😤.

"I saw a sign then thought i'll come back and antagonise the staff with my drone" this audit stuff using drones is causing issues for people that just want to fly drones for their hobby. This is why they are changing the drone rules because shit like this causes hassle ie cant fly any further than you can visually see the orientation of the drone (caa guidance that will be used against you in court). you could have very easily put the drone up and flown around and filmed without issue instead you called them to cause and issue get a life. both flights unless you have bionic vision of the 6 million dollar man where well beyond the guidance of knowing the orientation of the drone that height and distance and bright sun will have rendered the drone invisible from where you took off.

Try fly a drone in norway and you will get fined and lose your drone as you need a license to fly it and 5 km from Airports

I have got a licence for my drone. I also have insurance to cover any damages to third parties, although it's not a requirement in the UK to have insurance😀
