This is how western countries operate, they learn from each other and work together to achieve a common goal. Chathuranga shared his experiences in India to see how we can apply the same in Sri Lanka. This is exactly what we need in Sri Lanka. Harsha on the other hand fully understands it, as he was educated abroad and participated in discussions at that level.

We need people like Chathuranga. Very well updated about the market situations and strategies.Even Harsha can learn from him❤️
Clearly Director Foreign Exchange doesn't want to add any additional tasks to his scope - When he is asked whether he is doing transfer pricing audits, he says that its not covered by Foreign Exchange Act - When he is asked whether it is covered by some other act, he says he is not aware of it - When committee is discussing on creating new laws to empower transfer pricing, he gets panic and suddenly suggests that might be within scope of custom Clear he doesn't want to do that. That's the typical nature of state employees. If someone thinks that he doesn't like to go an extra mile because he is not paid well, don't forget that he is getting his salary from Central Bank

TP is a mechanism where multinationals take the money away from our country using their transactions within related entities. If we have no laws on this it’s like a fishing net with a big hole.! I’m sure we have TP policy experts in SL and we should fix these gaps at the earliest. Thanks for bringing this in. There is a deeper issue here than what was spoken ( about ownership)
