@@gothenmosph5151 Vampire kills endless because at a certain point just jokers wont cut it and you need the ideally glass enhancement, that would mean every queen he played if glass would give an extra 2 mult, then doubled, so (2^2), then times 5 cards so ((2^2)^5), which is (2^10) which is a 1024 mult... slightly better than the 20 odd mult he got from vampire

Great run. Type A chatter comment at 26:00 though: Dumping Vampire for invisible Joker would have been the correct call from a score standpoint. The two good outcomes are if it copies Trib, which would be x2^10, or it would copy Sock and Buskin, which would be x2^5. Both would be way higher than Vampire could ever get. The bad outcome is Gold Mask, but I think it's worth the risk if you wanted to go as far as you possibly could.

There are good reasons to do it. The joker that gives you negative copies of a consumable you hold, for example. They're marginal, but the cost for holding it is negligible when you're winning hands by that much. Oh, and the simpler reason he was holding it was because he wanted to be guarantee that he could use a Fool card on it.

I agree on not taking Vamp and Mask in the first place, but why would you want Mask right of Vamp? I understand the order the affects apply, and it does put gold cards into your deck, but that means there's a significant lag on when you start getting Vamp triggers. Much better to take the +1× mult per hand than add some gold cards to your deck. You don't need to buy anything so your econ is already sorted regardless

9:10 I appreciate that NL prioritizes making interesting runs over playing the "meta", but seriously considering Shoot the Moon's 65 mult over the 2^10 = 1024 from Triboulet nearly short circuited me. Okay, I'm only adding this because he mentioned receiving feedback at the end and seemed disappointed about not reaching e. Steel cards weren't the answer. He correctly realized that vampire killed glass, but the eternal Midas Mask was what really sealed his fate. +.5x mult per hand is pathetic compared to focusing on triggering his x2 mult queens more. Blueprint, brainstorm, and invisible joker were the picks. He passed by invisible joker in the shop at least twice this run. If it copied sock&buskin or triboulet, he'd have probably reached e easily. Then if he can farm death cards, duplicate his red seal queens, and apply glass to them, he'd be reaching absurdly high e values.

Shoot the moon wouldn't of got multiplied by trib. Scoring goes played cards, hand, jokers, it would of added mult after trib multiplication, BUT him getting rid of smiley face was something, to get type A about it it's (Starting mult +5 x 2^10) + (5 x 2^9) + ( 5 x 2^8) etc till last card scored.
