You are supposed to use your dominant hand. But would still be understood as left handed people would do that! :)

Mrs. Halse - First of all I saw your recreation of this video and you did an amazing job! I just wanted to make you aware that you labeled yours as ASL and it is not ASL. This is a form of signing known as Makaton that was created to help people who struggle with communication for other reasons like autism, or Down syndrome and based on BSL (British Sign Language) which is different from ASL. As a friend of the deaf community, I am super excited that you are learning to sign on your own at 10, and just want to make you aware of the differences. Keep learning! Makaton is a language aid for people with communication difficulties. It helps develop communication skills, through signs speech and symbols.
