Appreciate your post here, too. :) Honestly, I didn't know fires in Montana got this bad. Here we are trying to go north to escape the heat. Instead, we get a heat waves and fires. Crazy.

Pilot cars must be a western thing. We encountered pilot cars in Alaska. When we were out in Montana some years ago it was hot 113 degrees. Didn’t know it got that hot so far north. Safe travels you all and keep em coming. Love to see what y’all are up to.

Must be. Just came across another when there was road work on one side.The pilot car had to take the line of cars past the construction. Yeah, honestly, I didn't know Montana got this hot in the summer.
