Wow guys. What a great adventure you’re on. I watched this episode while trying out a Meta Quest 3 to see if it would be like a big screen in the van. About the time you got your haircut I did something wrong and you were like 6 inches in front of me the size of a drive-in theater. I got it back to wall size and watched in amazement. We liked El Salvador, good roads and functional bureaucracy. They even feed the dogs they keep at the border and they needed no dog papers from us for our dog. Nice country but nothing much to do there as we don’t surf and it’s pretty small.

Yes, We really liked it too. But you are right. We toured around and enjoyed villages, markets and the great volcano. But then the heat made it hard to stay much longer. I'm really glad we got to experience the place and people.

Glad to hear things are going so well. I hope my wife can see this! Wonder what the deal is about the drones? Nice to know. Looks like you could carry them across as long as you didn't fly them? So do you just ship them to a post office for pick up?

Thanks, drones aren’t allowed to be possessed in Nicaragua. They will be confiscated at the border. So we shipped ours from El Salvador to Costa Rica by DHL so we could pass through without breaking any laws. DHL will hold packages until you arrive at their offices. It was a little expensive but worked well in this situation.

Nicaragua says drones are used to smuggle drugs and assist in drug smuggling. In the other half the government is paranoid and one wonders if they just fear spying activity from the air. We found the border officials are entirely pleasant.

Yes, we did go through there. But it was so hot we didnt stick around to film much. It's a pretty area.
