Welcome back to our channel. Life with the bridges.
We are the bridge family trying to get the most out of this rat race we all call life.
In September 2021 we found out our dreams had come true. We were expecting a new addition ….to the Bridge family.
We spent the next 9 months, like any normal parents would, preparing our life for the arrival of our little boy.
On the 11th of may 2022, at 11:11pm we were bless with the birth of our son. HE WAS PERFECT. We instantly felt love like we had never experienced and our family of 4 we always dreamed of. Was finally complete.
We had the most magical first 8 months with Teddy experiencing all that life had to offer. UNTIL on the 24 of feb 2023 he got diagnosed with high risk AML Leukaemia.
We spent 6 months (184 days to be exact) at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He endured 2 rounds of chemotherapy and a full bone marrow transplant in hope that it would save our son's life.
We documented every part of his journey on this channel to raise awareness and give childhood cancer the exposure it deserves.
After riding the hellish and unpredictable storm Teddy made it to the end of his treatment and RANG. THAT BELL!
You are joining us now in our next chapter of this journey at home at bridge HQ, as we try to rebuild our life and continue to spread awareness about what it’s like to have a child post cancer and transplant in hope that this second chance at life we have been given. IS FOREVER.

All though myself and Katie have been lucky enough to travel the world far and wide in the past and now are slightly restricted for now due to Teddys recovery. This doesn’t mean to can’t dream, explore and go on adventures from our doorstep to show our son what life has to offer.
TIME is something that none of us have control over and let me tell you. It isn’t on our side. I don’t have time. We don’t have time and you don’t have time. Yes I said it. YOU. DON'T. HAVE. TIME.
So if there is one message we would like to spread to all of our community here on our channel. It’s live for today as tomorrow is never promised.
We are going to breathe deep, dream big, travel wide step out our comfort zone and go and grab life with both hands and make the most out of what ever time we have left on this earth. AND WE are taking you along with us. So buckle up as LIFE. WERE COMING FOR YOU.

OMG - What an incredible VIDEO, IWOW!! I had soo many good chuckles through out and cannot believe that PRECIOUS SON of YOURS known to ALL as SUPER TED, and indeed he is just that. His vocab is just incredible, his sentences so entertaining, it’s not too long off and his going to be running. His such a SUPER CHAMP of a little man, and how indeed I’m sure, you cannot hold back the “joy” just seeing him doing everything and more. I do love how you and Kate just allow him to do NORMAL things that’s such fun I.e. like you did Scott allowing him to walk through the puddles CROCS and all on. 🫣💪🏻 I have travelled quite extensively but OMG THANK YOU SCOTT for the beautiful photography of the COTSWOLD I have to add that to my BUCKET LIST, with 🍀 Take my hat off to YOU SCOTT how bloody organised you are at setting up your caravan, ( all by yourself ) never like that in my day. OMG! Teddy at the animal park- so excited and adorable, god love him. Willow is such a great fur baby. What you call ramps we call speed bumps, and all those beautiful white daisies. I hope when we hit the road to be full time in our RV we find lots of campgrounds like the one you stayed at. Kate's like me, loves gift shops, shop on Kate. Love you guy's and give that handsome little boy a big hug from me.

Many happy memories Scott. Our kids were lucky enough to holiday with both sets of parents for about 8 years. We hired a houseboat. It was a lovely time and lots of laughs. My kids are adults with their own kids now and the cycle continues. We are now the Grandies going on holiday with our grandchildren.😍 Teddy B, you are amazing, Willow, you are amazing, Scott and Kate, you are amazing! The Cotswolds were my parents favourite place and they usually stayed at The Broadway Hotel. Yes Boughton on the water is so beautiful. What an amazing camp site, no wonder Kates parents want to work there. Enjoy your trip peeps and keep on stomping in puddles Teddy.👏💙👏💙

I was remembering when we use to stop off at Bourton on the water there use to a place were there was a tiny little model village made up of all area l do not think it would still be there now to old fashion fun but l think teddy would have loved it as it would just be his height now. Watching when teddy was so poorly and seeing him now is just like a miracle, what a special holiday and with both sets of grandparents there as well who needs to go on a plane to have a lovely holiday. Why do you leash young Teddy? He is a good boy, fun and smart. More than that, you are smart, non-distracted parents, you've got this. Teach him to stay close. He will learn!

We only put the leash on him at the start to try and help break his fall as he was learning how to walk. We don’t use it now unless he is in a busy area

I think it was most probably a huge comfort to Teddy when he was very poorly and you can’t just whip it away from him.
